Not a single EFT in WT has had Brimstone 1s in real life. The British use Brimstone 2s (remains to be seen whether they will upgrade to 3s), Germany has tested Brimstone 2s & 3s on the IPA 7, electing to acquire the latter variant in the end (deliveries are to begin in the next 2 years), and Italy has literally never had Brimstones.
So it’d be more accurate to say that the variant of the Brimstones used by Germany (AND the UK) is incorrect and should be changed to Brim 2s for UK and Brim 3s for Germany.
What i’m saying false to is that we don’t get export Rafales as French just didn’t buy the fuccking pylon for the F3 and that stops there. Had they decided to buy it prematurly F3R would have had 8 MICCA in french service. People like you that want 100% historical accuracy just don’t have their place on WT. You people are juts being mad annoying for a game that never pretended to be an historical simulator… Wt is just a game with realistic mechanics and that’s it.
This testbed is operated by Dassault and DGA as well as Thales and all industrials that must run tests on the Rafale LMAO. And people that run the tests are actually people from the Armée de l’Air et de l’Espace anyway… Industrials just cccheck measurements are in acccordance to what was expected.
It’s 50/50 afaik the measurement tools installed on the base that is used for the tests belong to DGA and industrials and the plane belong to the crew that operates it afaik so in the end it’s owned by a specific squad of the AdA&E
If it does belong to the armée de l’air, than the case would be no different from the IPA8. But from what ive read in this thread it sounded to me like that was not the case. And i could not quickly find any source on which airframes CEAM (Frances test squadron afaik) operates
Also this is where it gets interesting because defense industries in France are very closely related to the army as the industrials are all present on french territory and iirc have close colaboration with the army. While for the EFT consortium the army must operate testbeds beccause if it was the industrials that operated the test planes it would be a happy mess as the plane would have to change country various time to properly run tests.
If you want to report weapons load used on testbeds feel free to do so but for such a thing like 8 MICA for F3R to happen to US or any other nation you need very strong reports. And the one that got presented to devs was ultra solid.
The people that popped on this thread only to yap is insane. Instead try to get same treatments and if they get refused by gaijin you yell at injustice anyway while when someone takes a look at the reports made for such things they are more fragile than the efing skellerex in Mario Bros games.
I’m aware of that much. I was hoping to quickly figure out if that squadron tested the additional pylons and on which airframe (and if that airframe belongs to industry or not). No idea of that information even exists tho
You are the one who echo chamber replies insults at nobody.
People can have differing opinions on what they want to see in game, this does not make their opinion any less valid. You got what you want, let it go.
If there’s one thing that was not a cause of this it was preferential treatment. What happened was the 6-10 people spamming the same reports eventually likely got to a less knowledgeable bug reporter who passed it on. The zone was too gray to outright deny capability (even though if they searched a little bit they could easily deny it). So they were forced to give in and give an ahistorical buff.
It does open up a whole new unnecessary can of worms though, using non-combat capable prototypes as modeling references now means we will likely see a whole bunch of weird bug reports.
