Nah, fixed mica would be on range level of amraam, even faster throught portion of it. Yeah, you would have less missiles but they would be almost as potent as amraam and you have significantly better radar.

LMAO this is getting ridiculous. The R27ER was completely irrelevant in the 100m multipathing meta. You just had to fly low to completely neuter them. Russia was completely irrelevant in the meta from the Mig29 nerf until now. They still are.

The Su-27’s fm was fixed tho? And it was broken cuz they were using the graphs from its prototype (T-10) which is basically a different aircraft accorsing to the Sukhoi thread.
Look at what happens a lot to the mica since it overcorrect a lot.
Issues like that are so common and ruin it.

You are saying the MICA should have the range of the AMRAAM, while being faster, with thrust vectoring at close range. On a supercruising platform with a radar that’s essentially the eye of God. And you don’t see why they keep it as a short range king instead ?
Its okay if they need to nerf MICA for game balancing but that is what a historically accurate MICA-EM would look like. But then its also okay to get the extra MICA pylon for game balance.

Yes it should. Unlike F15E or EF on same BR, rafale is more speed limited, has SIGNIFICANTLY LESS CMS, is limited to 6 missiles in total where 15E/I can carry up to whopping 8 amraams that would be pretty much equal at range and EF is significantly better in kinematics than rafale while having 6 amraams and 2x 9M on top of that for close in combat.
Mica should be faster only for burn and then shortly after that burn. At BVR launches, it should be equal or worse. Even though design French used for mica comes out of S530D which had significantly better high supersonic drag than something like sparrow. And MICA is waaaaaay thinner and lighter.
