Tbh, in my experience, just put chaff on periodic release and MICA will decide it don’t want to do good that day. This is from the perspective of having MICA launched at me.
If you fight below 10km in amraam platform. Thats MASSIVE skill issue.

Yeah, issue is that top tier is so inflated with people that know almost nothing about how fox 3’s work that it devolved into the noobs becoming food while the good players last longer, so now we have the vocal minority complaining here

Aye, I can even play ground attack for most of a match without too much strife at present. Toptier folk kinda questionable.
No way typhoon players can complain when they’re pulling 16G’s at mach 1.5 with nearly double the missiles, while having the objectively best fox 3 in game

about the only way i got kills on the dev against Typhoon’s, would always put in chat “now why did we do that”

Its stupid good with broken radar… once TWS is fixed, it will be able to reliably spam 4-6 amraams at 30-40km at multiple targets and properly guide them. They are already hitting with that trash TWS.

They never seemed to use their range advantage on dev. Was a bit odd.

Unless they implement a (distance / energy) table, we’ll never be able to warrant using them at range.

If they could give it its missing 37.5% of range, it could in fact compete with AMRAAM at long range like it is supposed to
After all it’s only fair : Rafale gets less missiles, doesn’t it.

Could also probably resolve some of the issues by having thrust vectoring turned off until within a given range of the intended target. Not exactly ideal, but it’d at least give us some range and retain short range agility.
