Honestly, depends, i find rafale more fun than EF but EF is objectively powerhouse that totally crushes rafale everywhere exept specific close range scenario. If you get focused in Rafale and the guy focusing you has 2 brain cells, you are done.

Which doesnt matter in the slightest outside of SIM. You are acting as if F3R stolen HMD IFF from other nations or halted their addition which isnt true as these are 2 separate developments.

The ‘‘100km class’’ has been claimed on Armee de l’Air website , i have posted the source to the original comment which you did respond .
From all the sources you posted only the MICA NG brochure is on the same level of authority ( since both come from Armee de l’Air ) . Ixarm which is a website for export as far i understand mention >80 km which means superior to 80km , if 80km was the limit they would mention <80km. And the third source is meaningless since just a news website. Back to MICA NG brochure , it doesn’t tell you anything specific about MICA range it just tells you that MICA NG has extended range over MICA.
Regardless the point i was trying to make was not to say that MICA should absolutely hit 100km , as i said it is unkown what the max range for MICA-EM is . The point was to emphasize how far off from that ‘‘100km class’’ the MICA we got ingame is .

Radar is really good. This type of radar is radar you want for something that flies fast and high (rafale can do that) and has good BVR missiles… well theres where whole point of that radar and alt performance falls apart. You cant BVR. I try to use it as such and usually, 2 missiles connect with luck. They are slow, Even at alt, above 20-25km, they slow down FAAAAST after burning out and it gives enemy waaaaay more time to chaff them or even outrun them.
Its not hard to chaff amraam at altitude, even though i died to it in perfect 90° notch dropping chaffs like mad.
But your missile wont really achieve same ammount of pressure and kill potential.

You’re right, several things are wrong with this missile. I’m so glad you support it being buffed appropriately. We really should make sure there isn’t anything wrong with it in the face of documentation.

i think somethings that supports french aircraft under their lackluster kit is the fact that most french players are pretty good at the game and have functioning brains (for the most part)

It’s the best missile within 10km, but alongside the R-77 at long ranges, there is nothing that makes this missile OP, it just fills the niche that no other fox 3 does

I noticed this. Most combat is done below that range. Its far too powerful. Something urgend needs to happen. Its too op.
I mean, inside 5-10, almost everything is as good, maybe amraam is worse but certainly darter/derby, 77, PL12 can compete without issue, its really that super close range below 5km. In which you shouldnt ever get in spamraam platform.
