I get you’re not the sharpest spanner in the shed, but I really shouldn’t need to explain something to you that we’ve all explained to you half a dozen times regarding precedent. Rafale is significantly closer to it than several aircraft that set the precedent for HMD. This was trialed on Rafale. It is currently in use by the French. There are platforms in game that A) did not trial it, and B) did not receive it on the standard depicted, but they still have HMD.

Thats not it, that will turn off switching between targets with one button and allows you to use TDC. I mean where it automatically swaps between radar and irst.

I mean we already have Mirage 2000-5F in export config, Mirage 2000D RMV with weapons it dint carry in service, F-16AJ as a whole, F-16A Blk 15 OCU carrying AIM-120, German and Italian EFTs carrying Brimstones, so on and so on.

also, is anyone experiencing lack of damage with MICA-EMs ? I keep getting crits or just "HIT"s rather than severe damages or kills

This is exactly what you need. Sometimes to maintain target lock, the game changes your radar mode. I dont remember the exact order, but when the lock cant be maintained in any radar mode, it switches to IRST

Iam using it for months, its not it. It still switches between PD/IR whenever it wants to.
If they acknowledge it as precedent, then I would be okay to go along with it. I am okay with HMD on that premise, as well as it being trialed, but I would much rather we at least try for some level of realism on hardpoint utilisation. If they acknowledge it as precedent, then fine, I’ll not be thrilled but at least there’s an acknowledged precedent.

Well hardpoints were trialed and proven technically possible on F3R model
I have it off for months
But the hardpoints, unless we’ve found some documentation in the past couple of days, were not present on the French models.
It will, I have been using it like that for like a year. That setting has nothing to do with automatic Radar/IRST switching
Neither were magics on 2000-5F, or AG ordnance, or 38MT on Su25. Or IRST or flares or well… weapons on Yak-141, or AGM-65 on F-15I, or Mavs on SAAF Gripen, OR S530D on 4000. It doesnt matter in WT if it had it or not.
There are things that didnt even flew with full avionics and weapon integration.
2 pylons for rafale aint NOTHING compared to stuff above.
