I mean it’s fine to talk about the two when it’s related to compare them (as long as it is the features of the planes) but yeah talking only about the eurofighter here just to whine about it leads nowhere to start with.
Agreed! AESA Radar is always going to be superior. But if you are right infront of me my Radar should atleast see you and it doesnt always due to scan times, patterns.

Listen, I’m an Eurofighter fan and there’s nothing wrong with being one. The EuroBros have got to stop the cope though, they should spend more time enjoying the best plane in the game rather than coping about the Rafale.

Also I’d really like to see the fights you’re refering to because we can say anything from a dogfight… Some people say the Rafale beats the Raptor all day just because of that one fight so I don’t really trust these anymore

Theyre about tied, Rafale narrowly wins 1c, EFT narrowly wins 2c, any mistakes made by either pilots would be critical in the fight:
Missiles do have an effect, that’s just about the dumbest take I’ve heard. Not only do they provide positional pressure pre-merge, the MICA’s are extremely dangerous off-bore post-merge, as are Magic 2’s. The AIM-120 and AIM-9M on the other hand are borderline dead weight post-merge, with the exception of if the enemy tries to run or extends too far.
Pre-merge (non-BVR): MICA >>> AIM-120 , AIM-9M >> Magic II
Post-merge: MICA N/C , Magic II > AIM-9M
In all shot conditions, the MICA has a similar TTI to the AIM-120, the best long range fox 3 at top tier. There is a definite energy advantage to the AIM-120 in those extreme range shots, particularly vs maneuvering target Id assume (something this simulator cant model afaik), but in return, the MICA is significantly better in WVR combat. I think the whole “the MICA is worthless in BVR” thing is pretty overplayed at this point…
Data from statshark missile simulator, take with grain of salt, but seems pretty accurate when cross-referenced to the old graphs from the post attached below.

Still no clue how they can reach this conclusion when in training as far as i see they get beaten all the time against rafale and from what i get the few times they won rafale was intentionnaly nerfed and/or it was a younger pilot. (I don’t have source for now for the second part or not much in depth)

I like them better when it’s nice and short (unlike Mythic’s thesis paper which I cannot be bothered to read or respond to). Concise cope is always funnier.

I am fully capable of having a discussion with other people who bring as much evidence as they want. I prefer people bring evidence rather than making baseless claims.
What he wrote is mostly copy paste from the German EFT thread which has already been replied to. He also has an extensive history in this thread and I’m not too keen on starting that again.

Also, a video of a guy smoking everyone with a plane is no proof that said plane is the best. The skill actually matters and some guy who mastered the Rafale could probably make the exact same video
