Man just be happy you got the Rafale or something there’s no need to write hundreds of whiny messages
You guys make such a big deal off of some balancing decision while conveniently ignoring that no top tier aircraft has a version-accurate loadout. I don’t see you complaining that the German Eurofighter gets brimstones, or that the F-15E with 120Bs only get SDBs, etc…
Like seriously take a deep breath it’s gonna be ok if your one preferred plane isn’t a perfectly accurate recreation of a given airframe at a given time.
You’re telling me about that aircraft, which effectively never was used in Operationnal use.
But the only operators of such aircraft were frenchs, be it industrials or DGA.
There is no Export variants that are influencing it one way or another - unlike Rafale or Mirages (whole family)
So the question is just not appliable, at the very the question is “prototype or no prototype” alike YAK-141
But my problem is that since Mirage 2000-5F, we got a change of Politics from Gaijin, giving us export variant weaponnary on domestic designs
From my PoV it makes the Mirage 2000D variants completely useless as they are replaced in games by the more perfoming aircrafts that are Mirage 2000-5F and Rafale today.
Yeah but frankly it’s getting very annoying. The last 400 messages have all been that sterile back and forth between whining about competitiveness or whining about a supposed “historical accuracy”. This is really flooding this otherwise good topic.
Or maybe someone actually reported it with proper sources maybe even internally. Just because the report is “accepted” doesnt mean it will result in a change because its all up to devs at the end.
It’s very annoying when I’m trying to get a radar lock with HMD but the plane attempts to get an IR lock for some reason and ends up locking on flares, and I can’t launch my mica. Caused me to lose fights so many times
You think Dassault created a software with a feature for a third pylon just for fun without cable. Sorry to say this, but why would Dassault make a third pylon appear in their software without cables? That’s really poor reasoning.
To change the topic i wanted to ask how good is Rafale in a dogfight? When i was still grinding for Eurofighter i won 3 out of 3 dogfights in Gripen when playing sim. I know Eurofighter beats Rafale but does Gripen too? And what about f15s, f16s and other top tier jets?
It depends on fuel. As of now i mainly play RB until they fix rafales hud and give TD box to helmet. But when i merge, i dont stay in prolonged bfm as i always choose one circle, pull out airbrake and turn and burn to get reliable mica shot off once they start getting back hot on you. If they dont, you can mostly sit on them and IR locked gunsight is super reliable, ive managed to get 700meters high aspect kills with it. Both at speed or slow.
Germany are pushing hard into Turkey and India for the Typhoon.
I think India has a higher chance of buying them. They know the risks of depending on one nation for your military procurement. France cannot meet the demand of the Navy and the Air force
It’s a great Radar…and the Tornado needs it, the rest of the jet is suffering!
Gaijin have made an uncessary rod for their back with Radars. There was no need to add AESA/PESA Radars to the game when they knew they would not function realistically. Pantsir and TOR are the exceptions to this.
Now because these are new and classified we end up with Radars like the Foxhunter AI and the Blue Vixen performing better than the CAPTUR-M based on publicly available information!
