Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance - Part 2

You mean this thing I like and have?

What I dont like is a blatantly overpowered and wildly overtuned aircraft crushing the entire matchmaker for over 9 months.

Especially given its gotten bug fixes when… comprable airframes… with the exact same bug reports submitted 6-9 months before still havent been fixed yet

As it turns out, it was Gaijin’s fault for releasing F3 (effectively F4) too fastly :(
We can’t blame the bug report for the bug report-based buffs…

Hmm I dunno but when the only thing you do is boasting in threads being like “Nerf this” I don’t think people will warmly welcome you but i guess my knowledge in human relationships must be bad.

Thank god. Finally an actual fact. That said saying F3R is effectively an F4 cannot be more wrong there is a lot more to Rafale F4 that would make it way better than Rafale F3R with 8 missiles and an HMD. Especially when you know there is Rafale F4.1, F4.2 and soon F4.3 that each bring quite noticeable updates to the previous versions.

Since AASM-250 got proper horizontal turn ability, I’d welcome a way, in which I can use IR homing variant to shoot sideways or almost behind me properly without GNSS and IR bugs.

In this situation, Gaijin could choose to remove the HMD and reduce the amount of armament.

Both EFT and Rafale were released too early. its just that Rafale turned out to be that better :p (With a little help but on release it was cracked already)

Would change legit nothing.

Luckily Gunjob did report internally that the AASM-IR should have LOAL ability and so it’s only a matter of time we should have an ability to where the AASM-IR can be launched behind us, travel to a certain location, find a target and kill it.

Given we dont even have SAL Brimstone 2s yet. I think you will be waiting a long long time for that

Don’t jinx yourself, Gaijin just might decide to act on more Rafale/AASM reports before others.

Sat waiting for any meaningful EFT bug report to even be looked at

Claiming the Rafale is the better than everything else when its in an ahistorical fit and overperforming and all other nations/aricraft are artificially nerfed is just hilarious

To be fair, everyday people claim that the Rafale is historically overperforming and yet I find more and more things to bug report with on the Rafale that shows it is underperforming in certain aspects. At some point this narrative cannot continue in the face of Gaijin acting on these reports.

Rafale recently went up in winrates from 66% winrate to 68% winrate according to statshark now that the new month of August stats are here. Maybe after this patch it’ll finally break the 70% threshold for the global winrate of the vehicle. Interesting how this vehicle has stayed strong after all this time.

If Rafale has such high winrates its mostly because it doesn’t face itself LMAO. The only reason Rafale winrates go up is because they often are placed in teams that win games and don’t fight themselves which doesn’t lead to a winrate negating. Because for example F15 or other overplayed planes will never have winrates past 50% because they face themselves so for 1 match won by F15Es one match is lost by F15Es.

because MICA EMs are brokenly OP and there are reports in to nerf those. If nothing else, they should not have recieved seeker buffs. (Especially annoying when C5 was denied comprable seeker buffs)

Look at the Mirage 2K5F and 2K5Ei. They are dominating at their respective brackets as well. Heck, they both just moved up to 14.0.

Combine with the fact that aircraft like the Typhoon are just being artifically nerfed. Sweden has yet to get Gripen E and China has yet to get something like a later J-10. etc etc, No wonder its steamrolling. Its easy to win a one horse race. Most nations don’t even have 14.3 and the Rafale is 14.7/15.0

Especially given most nations lack a HOBS IR or ARH missiles and the Rafale has both. No wonder it has such an easy time.

It is time for the Rafale to be put on the back burner and all 9 nations be brought up to parity.

Starting with things like AESA for everyone.

I’m partly to blame (from 25.03.2025 to 05.09.2025)
