Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance - Part 2

16G… how 🤔

Fuel dumped and fuel consumption off.

If you fuel dump down to 3 mins it pulls 18G’s, just tested.

Orange is dev-server Rafale and blue is current Rafale, you can see the difference in acceleration.

Wasn’t able to figure out how to do that, so we would have to wait for the official datamines to be posted. I’d imagine the turn rate graph will be posted then.

I hope they will also fix the roll rate.

You know Gaijin hates decompression.

That would be nice, but fixing the fuel consumption will be far better for all game modes (Sim/Air RB, etc).

Because you’d carry 20 minutes of fuel but it will actually weigh like just 18 minutes.

Rafale should get the M88-4E engine with reduced consumption. // Gaijin.net // Issues

Spoiler

If they actually add the F-5TH to the main build at 13.3 on the live server I will laugh out loud.

You get 2 of the 2nd worst ARH missiles in the game on a 11.0 airframe and you have to make your guns lopsided to do so? And the F-4 KWS gets to stay at 13.0 with 4 Aim-120As and 4 Aim-9L/I’s? Absolutely abhorrent balancing

Running off this, 15000/9300 is a peak, empty, unloaded TWR of ~1.61
Dassault says “10t class” so 9300 is reasonable enough.

Eurojet quotes the EF at

with a thrust of

18355/11000 is 1.67, which is greater than 1.54(???) and 1.61, totally overlooking the fact that 1.61 on the Rafale is also greater than 1.57.

Where have gaijin pulled these numbers from??

Any calcluation you made is wrong because you don’t account for channel loss(Thrust loss due to shape of air intakes that reduce airflow thus reduving thrust) or fuel mass. Your aircraft doesn’t even start in you calculation LMAO.

…Because we are calculating with empty airframes

This is not from the engines, this is from the manufacturer’s website on the aircraft. These are installed thrust values and therefore account for losses.
