I meant GRB map, if launches at the exact middle, it will destroy everything in most ground maps.

And it flies at M2.0-3.0
And its delivered by one of the top 3 best air combat jets in-game
And it has a 300km range so you can just sling them over and over and over and over again from total safety like players did with the Kh-31PD
Its an idiotic statement. “Rafale should get a 300km range, ramjet powered nuclear cruise missile with 10x the yield of the airfield killing nukes because I’m not happy that for once, aircrafts with better air to ground loads have more sway than me in my super overpowered, maliciously bug reported aircraft in a gamemode primarily about ground attack! Something MUST be done, the Rafale is becoming obsolete!!!”
Why even bother shooting at the air defenses with the thing when it could just wipe out the entire enemy teams airfields in the first 10min of the match, and any time one is intercepted, anything within ~3km of the intercepted munition just dies.
But yeah, a bunch of unpowered glide bombs that take like 5+ min to get just to a GBAD battery, not counting the time to fly up to 10km, get to a position where you can spot one through the clouds to drop them, and the RTB to repeat, are OP. France super needs a 300kt nuclear missile which can strike any target on the map from any launch point on the map to compete guys… Its a super reasonable thing to say, 20 10kg HEAT warhead glide bombs are roughly equivalent to 1 city killing ramjet powered cruise missile.
Ah great! The always so reasonable Rafale fanbase has elected to offer us an olive branch, they will ONLY request their 300km range M2.0+ nuke to be 3.33x times the yield of the biggest nukes used in the Nuclear Escalation test, and only 20x the yield of the smallest nukes. Truly, paragons of generosity and reason among the WT community, as usual.

I think anyone reasonable here who is against the addition of the ASMP have been entirely reasonable in their response to it and its yield. We do not currently have a seperation of weapons between gamemodes, so the claim that it would “destroy the entire (GFRB) map” is accurate, as the medium damage blast radius I could find for a 300kt nuke extends to a roughly 3km radius from the point of detonation, and the largest ground battles maps are ~3.5km wide.
It very much would be the single most broken thing added to the game ever, even if it was relegated only to nuclear escalation, and even if nuclear escalation got even stronger air defense systems. Its range is the entirety of the nuclear escalation map, its avg speed is M2.0-3.0, and its killing anything within 3km of it when it goes off, and will destroy an airfield in a single shot. Everyone with half a braincell agreed the Kh-31PD was WAY too overpowered during the NE event, to the point of being completely game warping, and thats “only” a ~145kg warhead that can only be fired at AA. There is no way to even remotely argue this might be balanced in any way, its just stupid, the king of all stupid requests in a long line of obviously unbalanced requests from this community.
I thought it was obvious that in reference to the ASMP, I meant for nuclear escalation mode, and only nuclear escalation mode, obviously it would not have any place in GRB or any other game mode and should never be added there, in fact the original paragraph talking about the ASMP directly referenced the nuclear escalation mode.
I love when people assume an American who has no affiliation to France, its people, or its language is representative of the community or the playerbase of France. You’re also speaking as if Gaijin can’t limit the radius of the explosion regardless when already the nuke is unrealistic in that it doesn’t kill the host plane that had launched the bomb as well as being untargetable.
When the nuke bomb was targetable before, it just destroyed the nuclear bomb no?
It’s obvious even to those who skimmed through what I had written, is that this would not be possible itself in a scenario I had proposed where I could see it being added, all the S-350, S-400, and S-500 sites would not allow it to skip over them and target enemy team airfields.
And again, in the future it would not be the case that they need to spot one through the clouds as other planes could as well just drop them exactly through the ESM locations when other aircraft like the F-15EX and other modern aircraft have geolocation capabilities through their RWR. A lot of context missing from your posts.

The rockets qualified for Rafale are the 68mm from Thales France, and not the 70mm from Thales Belgium, the rockets are the same as the one on the helicopter tiger, and Rafale use the Talios pod to guide them.
