Brother in Christ I do not envy our mechanics, with the Zoo

Also I guess we’re not too hyped about the promised Gripen E production ramp-up

I guess setting up 10 deals hoping 3 come to commencement is a thing, too

Both Rafale and Gripen e deal were always planned, but yeahhh Gripen e production won’t increase much because it’s not on SAAB but on others companies too which does not directly work with SAAB.

Does this mean we’ll get the planned 5 Rafales a month production?

I mean if the entire world keeps pouring their defense budget on Dassault like that they’re gonna have no trouble in that xD

If the additonnal 16 were the amount of Rafale needed to go to 5 yes.

TWZ reporting on it now;

Nope, this is for 68mm induction rockets derived of those fired by the Tigre. Tigre also test trialed them a few years ago :)

probably using a modified Telson 12 JF rocket pod

The tigre also fires one of the two rockets above, not the SNEB, but from my understanding Gaijin only gives them SNEBs because those would be useless against ground vehicles.
Alegedly the LGR uses a HEAT warhead but there’s a whole lot of nothing known on it. There used to be a link to thales website but it’s dead and not archived sadly

now if only gajin would add the pods to the german UHT like the Tiger HAD and HAC already have…

Hello everyone,

I’m not sure where to post this, but you can see a few Rafales in it…

Happy Bastille Day to everyone,

Best regards.

I don’t know if the german variant would have access to the LGR, as only the french one tested it on the Mk2 and implement it in the Mk3 (yes its finally called Mk3 instead of Mk2+ when the Mk3 was downgraded due to the german leaving the MLU program).

However the non guided rocketys are absolutely fair game - tho they are quite useless. Since we use the older SNEB model, their precision is atrocious (much worse than most other rockets of this caliber) and the 300mm of pen is subpar, so killing tanks is actually pretty difficult.
At least if they gave us the Aculus, they would be even more useless against armored vehicles, but we’d be able to shotgun enemy helis and SAMs

Holy quality, I wish the lerx and afterburner effects looked this good in WT.

The cockpit as well, quite well made.

Lerx could be better, afterburner as well, but let’s be fair, most aircraft models are already very very good. No, what Gaijin really needs to improve graphically is the terrain. That’s basically the one thing that has not improved other the years. DCS does it better, MFS does it better, heck, even nuclear option, a small indie game with like 4 developpers (which is the game they copied to create nuclear thunder) does this better.
For air maps, trees look terrible and mountains look like low polygon textures

Integrated with F.4.2, interesting.

Ukraine is planning to buy the laser guided rockets and training for rafale will begin this year.

There is also the mention of the 100 Rafale, i don’t think this was the case for the gripen e deal ?

Ukraine announces an initial order for 16 Rafale aircraft and their armaments, out of 100 planned for purchase in November 2025. The corresponding financing will be requested within the 2026 and 2027 tranches of the Loan in Support of Ukraine and through any other sources of financing.

Imagine if Gaijin would have have a License too, could be peak

Truth nuke on the biome quality, it can compete with 2010 Call of Duties, but not games made after that…

I don’t know if the game engine could keep up with such improvements though, and it seems to already be unstable for many people that use older pc’s;
But even then, terrain quality is a slider, and players could still chose what they want.

Personally, I’d love to see lerx effects like those of the video or even battlefield, makes the movement in general more immersive, other than being more accurate.

Then they’d probably have to fork over money to JFEXP (license holder) /Dassault and they’d probably won’t want to do that.

Sure, but if we could have got such a Quality :3

i mean if you want that quality (and actual combat) there is also the Eurofighter and Rafale releasing soon™ in DCS
