Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance - Part 2

For 4.1 only? Is it not retro-fitable to the F3R?

@WreckingAres283 you’d know right?

I’m not him but yeah, I can confirm, AASM1000 was never carried by F3R, it’s F4 specific

AASM-1000 has been introduced with F.4.1.

Afaik the centerline pylon can only have the aasm 1000, not the 250. And the 1000 was implemented with the F.4.1 standard

you forgot :
AM.39 B2 Blk2
ASMP
ASMP-A
(but 2 of those are nuclear devices, and the last is Anti-ship missile that somehow, only the Japanese got for free in their TT)

I meant aasm variants but or course the Rafale can carry more stuff… if you wanna list everything you forgot the scalp-eg, the gbu-24, the 2000L and 1250L droptanks, the areos recon pod, the narang refueling pod…

I guess this is where the original photo came from.

Does confirm that India did use Rafales as air to ground platforms with no Meteors.

its possible.

I don’t think India has meteors anyways in stock

Is the visual for meteor different than the mica? I’d think they’d use the same graphic for any medium range aams

they make the difference, between MICA-EM and IR
i think that’s not to use the same than MICA-EM on Meteors ^^"
