nah they should cancel that deal we dont need the rafale in the chinese tech tree with how the chinese community has behaved recently

Tbf, Taiwan needs something to defend itself with, and considering the last few years, they likely know the US cant be trusted in that regard whatsoever, so it makes sense imo. China getting access to Taiwanese vehicles is pretty disgusting though considering what China intends to do to Taiwan.

i can understand why that is, somewhat compareable to east and west germany, to some extend
but with how the chinese community reacted about the VT-4, they honestly dont deserve getting any western equipment through taiwan anymore in my opinion

Taiwan will get f-16v and they will be happy. I sincerely doubt they have need for a rafale considering that thing is superior air to ground wise, while being comparable air to air wise irl
Looking at what the Chinese air force has to offer I’d say they need anything they can get. They’re in a position of trying to directly defend against one of the most well equipped air forces in the world.
Not really, east and west Germany actually got back together, and Germany as a whole acquired the sum of both nations vehicles and weapons when it did.
Agreed on that point, it was absolutely ridiculous. That being said, more nations having access to the Rafale instead of the French mains being the only nation able to abuse their massively overpowered and under-tiered jet would be nice, so I’m on the fence.
That is the only difference that it has to China/ Taiwan
In a hypothetical case where Germany never reunified, I would say that ppl wouldn’t be too happy either if they shared the same tech tree
Seems like a good idea, France do not have a strained relationship with China. It takes the heat of the USA with the accusations China have made (regarding arming Taiwan) other alternatives no ITAR restrictions and can perform mulitple missions. Superior to F-16s proposed, how does Taiwan afford this though?

Piiot is quite famous for his attempts to nerf Eurocanards (Mirage 2000, Rafale, EFT) and has certain opinions of me. This is right away at the beginning of the game when spawning in.
