Regarding laser designation by another player, I’m not entirely sure how it would work in-game, but for infantry mode it could indeed be interesting.
Personally, my expectations for the coming year include additional fuel tanks for the Mirage 2000, but above all, the addition of the Exocet missile for French aircraft (Rafale, Super Étendard, and probably the M2K-5, given how they’ve integrated it). We’ve been waiting for this missile for ages (and also, if possible, the addition of air-to-air modes to the Super Étendard’s radar).
One would hope that buddy lazing is an option you can turn off as the pilot/only usable by people squadded with you.
Kills the ultra rare random “teamwork” powerup, but that never happens anyway, so not much loss.
They can add a way to squad with randoms mid-match (like other tank game) if needed because people do end up actually helping others with buddy lazing more often than trolling them.
to be entirely fair this is a huge nothingburger of a statement. It could just as easily be interpreted as the IRST being excellent (range as good as the radar) as it could the IRST being terrible (angular resolution as good as the radar). You can’t reasonably conclude anything from it.
Instances of the radar displaying hostile locked and tracked targets, a clip of the rwr showing the type direction and accurate visual display of aircraft type on the rwr screen.
RBE2 AESA Radar: This Active Electronically Scanned Array radar is capable of tracking numerous targets simultaneously and provides initial threat identification and prioritization based on radar signatures. The radar data, combined with information from the onboard threat library and other sensors, helps the central computer automatically identify potential threats.
Friendly and hostile targets being displayed directly on the Navigation HMD and rwr in real time displayed relative to aircraft position and direction of movement. The friendly aircraft rwr will even tell the pilot if they have been engaged “fired upon” via spectra system’s datalink, and vise versa if a friendly rafale is engaging the tracked hostile.
u are aware what it means that features just arent implemented in the game right?
You cant believe the rafale is the only plane missing stuff like that
None of this is relevant to the claim, you said it could be displayed on HMD. I can also find no evidence of identifications being displayed on the HUD.
The sensor fusion the Typhoon has (I assume you mean the friendlies being displayed in the HMD) , the Rafale has had since December 2024. Typhoon got it like 3 months ago
