Generally they share the same modification performed by Flugzeugwerke Emmen. However the RS was the reconnaissance aircraft, used until 2003 and lacks of the Huges Radar and add the interceptlight light and cameras in the nose.
Might be a fun design on discount if they premium it.
Personally would love the S-14. Only Dutch combat jet ever built but it was a trainer. Still at low tier with 2 gun pods it could be fun. Would be the second slowest jet in game.
P-16 actually has some decent performance.
F-5E or Mirage IIIS, I would no call high tier. Both get outperformed at its BR in AirSB. And Switzerland never had hardpoints for A/G on the Tiger. At least I have never seen it throughout my career in Swiss Air Force from 1989 to 2005.
Switzerland goes to German TT, thats I given from all we hear. But I would have wished a Alpine TT combined with Austria, who had Swiss F-5E leased. And share neutrality of course
As for the Alpine Hornet, I don’t expect it before next year. The Swiss Hornet has a Super Hornet cockpit which we are far from having in WT. If we have a legacy F-18A/B USA in December, that would be a surprise. But a Super Hornet, sorry, no way.
Honestly the 18As aren’t very hyped anymore, due to their lackluster capabilities for what is now top tier.
I wouldn’t be suprised if december is for the real hyped 18C for the US and other nations. They would likely just copy and paste the same hornet to the different nations because from what I heard all of them were technically capable of mounting the same weapons, even if they never did irl.
From what I understand these are composite structural components used on the F-X design.
However the components shown for the JF-210 are an AESA radar for the nose, secondary AESA arrays for the fuselage sides and radar receivers for the wing leading edges, likely part of the RWR.
there is still a difference between a fully swiss build plane and a swiss modified plane. I bet most of these modifications wont even matter in warthunder
