Correct me if I’m wrong, but tbh I don’t think Canada really bothered with pure bomber jets.
We mostly focused on Fighters/Multirole and Interceptors.
Canada doesn’t really have a purpose for pure Bomber jets.
Planes I can think of off the top of my head is:
CF-100 Canuck (Interceptor/Fighter depending on which variant), CF-101 Voodoo (Interceptor), CF-103 (Proposed Interceptor), CF-104 Starfighter (Fighter/Interceptor), CF-105 Arrow (Interceptor)
And then we got the CF-18 Hornets which were Fighters/Multirole, and now we’re buying F-35 Lightning II, which should arrive by 2026
Unless you count “CF-111/CF-104 (early)” which had its gun removed and could only drop bombs, as Canada wanted to make CAS planes out of the starfighters. It would later regain the gun, so personally, I split it in two, CF-111 “CAS only plane” and CF-104 “everything else it was”
But bar that you are correct as the closest thing to a “bomber” we currently have/throughout much of the Cold War is our patrol aircraft like the CP-140, and its replacement “P-8A Poseidon” which should also arrive in 2026.

One thing I have never seen people speak of “Yet” is that the JF-17 can carry gps guided weapons too.

The fencer in the trailer also carries KAB-500SE, which, is GPS guided. The jeff is capable of launching LS-6 GPS guided bombs and JDAM in theory, with its now western-capable avionics.
But on the other hand, its not going to kill anyone besides that pantsir player swiping their phone.
