Dance of Dragon - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

What advantages do GPS bombs have over TV/IIR ones?

Yeah post 1991 as the finally realised they needed a pod after too many blue on blue

Maybe one day… Hopefully.

Umm, they cant be smoked. But they dont follow targets, just point on the ground.

Being able to launch it from far away?

Out of all the additions Britain could have gotten. F-111C is one of the few i mind the least. We were going to acquire the F-111K and if that isnt possible in gaijins eyes then F-111C is fine.

CF-18
F-111C
Maybe NZ A-4
Maybe RAAF F-86

Thats all the foreign aircraft id not mind seeing added (excluding native built Canadian, Australian and South African stuff)

You’re telling me you dont want a SAAF gripen D with only Iris-T

Best guess. FnF, maybe with the ability to lock onto multiple targets and drop bombs onto multiple points.

You should also be able to lock onto a static point from rather long range and loft the bomb quite far.

Given that only three of the nations in game even have missile boats, I think that might be an ask

I mean on a different note, no sign of the CVR(T)s. Again. Come on…

Or a Gnat.

See the issue is the F-111C and the AIM are in two different situations. The AIM is not a vehicle designed just for Australia, it is just a variant of the M1A1 that Australia picked up. However the F-111C is made just for Australia meaning it is in a completely different situation than the AIM and I think its about time we see more Australian vehicles go to their rightful home.

If the F-111C was a variant the US used or it was designed for US use but they then decided to export it I would understand the F-111C going to US but it was designed purely for Australia so its in a weird situation.

No, we’ve had enough. The F-111C adds literally nothing.

We have 3 nations in one tree, but they still can’t be bothered to model any indigenous planes?

No I’m not.

@x_Shini when swiss ground is eventually added, my most sincere apologies for you having to play this dumpster fire of a tank.

I just had a message then it went lol

Their rightful home? They don’t have a home. We’ve been told so multiple times.

The F-111C belongs to the US.
