Yes, you can use up to 5 each 24 hours but they’re broken and you must spend one even if the vehicle has vechicle-locked backups. Which makes no sense since the whole point is to don’t 1-death quit if you’re FUBARed within 20 seconds of spawning, if your vehicle haves a vehicle backup you’ll just use it and will save a daily backup for another vehicle you’re grinding and doesn’t haves a vehicle backup, or you don’t have universal backups, or nation-locked universal backups… spending first the more restricted bonus is what anyone with a pulse does in a F2P.
As is working (or is broken) now, makes no sense at all unless someone over there in Gaijin is so wet between the ears that thinks that gamers will pay Gaijin for backups if we run out of freebies and are left without purchasable / randomized ones.
Memo: no effin way. Forcing players to use freebies when they got paid for/randomized backups will not increase sales, will cause gamers to think Gaijin is stupid and has implemented a broken feature, either as in code bug or as PEBCAK (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard).
Yesterday I 1-death quitted twice after not being able to use a vehicle backup instead of a freebie. I’ve got better things to do with freebies than wasting them in vehicles loaded to the brim with locked backups I can’t use anywhere else…

yes but sometimes one gets some vehicle-specific backups after a match
I assume this is a bug - actually there seems to be no report for this, I will create one tomorrow (my today dailys are all used so I can’t create a screenshot about the issue)

Thank you. I also have the same thing happening.
i’ve encountered issues with this. like during the sale i got the T-29, it will force me to use a daily backup instead of one of the backups that came with the pack in ground rb.

You can click on the link and add yourself to the bug report if you’re having this issue, don’t know if it will help but it won’t do harm.

Ill take 5 backups per day. Thats probably the ammount I use when I play.
Now I will never burn through 400 of them I have accumulated, plus another 100+ spread across my vehicles :)
just saw that the bug report was closed… similar bug reports were commented by “not a bug”…
We are supposed to create a suggestion on this… really GJ?

Forgetting a parameter (vehicle specific backups) or making a syntax error, while coding, amounts to the same thing.
What a lazy dev department.

Yeah, apparently is not a bug, it’s a feature… as I said…

So far I am not respawning vehicles with mutiple backups until I run out of freebies. Kind of a chore, but I just buy a ticket to the circus and others choose the clowns…

When said suggestion could take a couple months to be approved, a year+ to be accepted and who knows how long before it would be implemented, it wouldn’t be be worth the effort.
An actual thing worth suggesting would be a feature to exchange backups for free repairs because that’s more useful than a backup on a tank that you may not ever get to use.

same here, looks like the bug report was closed as the bug report manager thought it was a suggestion
and often the suggestion never gets published - happened to me that my suggestions were deleted w/o feedback prior to presentation for voting

Just seems odd that they are trying to pass the buck onto us - they player community.
Devs messed up - unless they deliberately are forcing us to use the Daily backup first.
- if they messed up, we should not need to make a suggestion - the bug report should resort in a fix
- if they did not mess up and it’s working as planned, making a “suggestion” will be a waste of time.
In short - the onus should be on Gaijin to fix the problem, or admit it will not change.
