Czechoslovak ground tree

I think a Ukrainian/Czechoslovakia/Poland as a full new Tech Tree would be sick!

An update to my ground tree

Hi there. In 8 days, it will be exactly one year since i made the last update to my ground tree proposal, so i thought it would be a perfect time to update it yet again. I added 12 new vehicles, deleted 2 that dont really belong in there, moved some and changed BR of few other. The new vehicles mainly include rank VIII wheeled IFVs and modern AA systems, ranging from short-medium range (SPYDER SR, KUB CZ) to those intended mainly for C-UAS and low-flying aircraft on lower ranks. There is also a brand new mortar variant of the Pandur II with direct fire capability, and some interesting WW2/early post-war tanks too.

Total vehicle count: 183 vehicles (making it by far the largest techtree in game, having 12 vehicles more than the Soviet techtree and as many vehicles as France and China COMBINED)

Of that:

120 fully indigenous (I.E. developed and produced in Czech/Slovak factories) (66%)

53 upgrades of foreign vehicles (mainly of licenses) (29%)

10 copy-paste (vehicles that would play same as their in-game counterparts) (5%)

Spoiler

I also changed the colour of “researchable vehicles” count. Hope its more readable now (idk why i didnt think of it sooner lol)

I am quite curious about Tiger with Škoda A 18 cannon, what is the story behind it?

goddam, that is an actual boat. Would be funny if it ends up in a naval tree

There isn’t much info about this vehicle sadly. All we know is that shortly after the war (1947 i think), a Škoda A18 cannon was installed on a Tiger tank for testing. There ain’t no photos nor oficial documentation i could find, and I think i once read that we don’t even know if it was truly Tiger 8 and not II. Some sources state that the Škoda A26 cannon was tested in a same way. The tank itself wasn’t supposed to be some post-war upgrade or anything. It was all done just to test the gun itself

Genuinely insane how large this tree could be. This isn’t even counting the aircraft or DC-1 gunboat (on another note, are there any coastal vehicles that Czechoslovakia and it’s successors can get?). If it ends up in the Soviet tree, then that would be the biggest waste of a subtree, even more than Hungary is now.

Sucessors not really, and Czechoslovakia itself also had a ,navy” only until 1950s. Still, there are some interwar warships, aswell as Austro-Hungarian warships that could be added. It will probably be the best if you check out my naval proposal :D

Looks good, though it could also go to Italy (I’d much rather it go to the Czech (if only gajin didn’t make one the worst decisions for a subtree ever so it could pair well with the other V4 members)).

Maybe a polish sub tree would help?

Perfect vehicles for polish tech tree

the Czechs also have the right to these vehicles because DANA, Topas and SKOT were created in Polish-Czech cooperation (Ryś is a modernization of SKOT, so it also counts).

So far no countries have rights to these as both aren’t in game.

Of course, it works both ways. Poland has the rights to the OT-62, OT-64 and ShKH vz. 77

DANA was just Czechoslovak SPGH project, Topas too. Later modernization made by Poland should only go to Poland with the only exception being export vehicles.

Yeah, no.
Only “Czech” thing about Ryś is that SKOT was joint project between Czechoslovakia and Poland. Ryś was full on heavy Polish modernization so it should only go to Polish tech tree. Not both and not only to Czechoslovakia.

I actually made a mistake. However, this suggestion is about the Czechoslovakian tech tree, so they may get Polish variants of export vehicles.

Besides DANA M2, none of them are export versions from Czechoslovakia or post-velvet states.
