Your attempt at satire is falling on deaf ears,
the only things i have seen german mains request are argie (danish) f-16s, swiss jets, the F-20 and F/A-18, possibly the marked f-15 but the french got to those first
i reckon a few foreign pilots have test flown them (since american raptor pilots have done the same with the EFT) but nothing like a combat evaluation from another nation
Tbh that would be pretty interesting if it actually happened. The proposal was before the Congress export ban though
That’s 4 foreign jets they are asking for. Equivalent would be for US to ask for J-10, EFT, Rafale, and Su-27
Nobody asked for the f15 seriously for france, it was always in answer to someone starting with that, france has an aircraft similar to the f15 anyway.
Only germans always come to say that x things should be added because air is bad, or because it does need cas, and you forgot about the german mains also asking a lot for polish f16.
Britain has been offered a lot of equipment that was restricted to other nations and plenty of times the US has just given the UK the equipment needed like during the lead up to the falklands. In exchange Britain usually gives them expertise and research. Like how a lot of the F-35 VTOL R&D is from the Harrier Program.
If Britain had agreed to the deal, I suspect it would have been exception, but Britain pretty thoroughly dismissed it as the F-22 was the worse possible aircraft for Britain’s needs and still would be today. Much the same reason Britian turned down the F-117.
Yep, there have been similar things that have happened. To be fair though, it was a PW engine this time around, and still mostly LM.
You are right about F-22 being the worst aircraft for them though, would’ve made them almost unparalleled in a2a, but with how expensive they are and their more limited multirole capabilities at first, the EFT was the smarter choice for them.
Making it even more of a slop won’t help either.
Gaijin likes to add copy/pastes as their work needed for that is minimal. People demanding more and more copied shit is a good way towards getting worse and worse content each update.
People begging for Germany to have Czechia, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
@MotorolaCRO
Yet copy-paste make up a minority of vehicle additions.
Too OP, cant be added to the game yet, Would destroy top tier GRB balance
Modern-day Czechia is way more related to Israel (F/A-259, IFVs, SPIKEs, SPAAs, etc.).
More likely a Poland + Czech “WARSAW pact” TT at some point. Best way to add them and other nations from the area to the game
They add new vehicles but to several nations at a time, which makes me believe they will prioritize vehicle additions that can be put in as many nations as possible. It’s always easier to copy/paste than to make new models from scratch for domestic variants.
Just look at M44, EFT, M109s, Osa/Strela…
4 vehicles, out of over 200 additions.
Lets also not forget that plenty of sub trees are just a cheap way of introducing copies en masse.
Just look at Ground Benelux, Finland, Hungary. It’s filled with copies.
Benelux ground is 1 copy-paste Leopard 2, the others are unique [which a Dutch convinced me the 2A6NL is unique].
Finland is half unique, Hungarian ground is at least half unique.
It wasn’t offered, it was looked at by the UK as possible alternative to the Eurofighter. But it never went farther than that.
Still makes the UK the only other nation with even a fraction of a claim for it though.
Sweden mains looking on while everyone gets a copy of their main top tier jet and not receiving anything from other nations when they should (at top tier, anyway):
Yet.
Pretty sure this year will bring us Finnish Hornet at least.
Spoiler
Czech doesnt have Gripen C only A/B (not trying to argue against your argument just clarifying)
