The consensus is yes we want it. The problem is gaijin is doing the germany thing where the 30mm model isnt what we need. So we start with the worst one with no idea if the devs plan on actually adding the version we need. So we are gonna have to wait until they add them. Imo i wouldve taken a nice 23mm spaa from finalnd for 5.x or something for 6.x spaa wise but i digress.
Realistically the reason we dont get the D model is probably so gaijin can sell it as a premium

So you’re saying they will use it as an opportunity to make cash?
I don’t want to spend 400000 points on developing 9030+spike at all. It’s not fun at all.

It’s Gaijin, high likelihood
They might add the 35mm and Hard-APS foldered with the 30mm without Hard-APS
While having the D-series as a premium
High likelihood we dont see another in the TT and both in prem folder
How do I pass it to developers?

unless it gets a APS or a better cannon it feels like a downgrade from the CV9040 BILL at a higher br cause you get a worse cannon that fires slower, hit or miss missile, and you have less missiles than the bill, and as of right now it doesn’t even have a LWS but that may change
does get the improved engine and armor tho
but how useful that armor difference is remains to be seen, i’d guess it would stop 12.7mm from penning the side at least
the armor and weight are broken atm but even if they fix it, it’s still going to be DOA if they don’t significantly change how it is now.
Improved armor? Its literally a CV9030 while weighing 37t. Just a reminder the 9040C is 28t with actual armor and 550hp
mk4 should have additional plating compared to a CV9040B and other CV9030s, it was shown on stream with composite added
Yeah and the armor is underperforming
armor and weight are broken ATM it should be a bit lighter and the front armor should be able to stop 30mm APFSDS rounds. still going to be DOA without an upgraded cannon and APS
Yeah, i dont have all the information to make a bug report for the MK.IV, though getting things changed before the update drops is the o ly way to get anything changed. After its nearly impossible

on the BAE systems website it says " The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is increased from 35 tonnes to 38 tonnes, offering users three tonnes of extra payload" meaning that the curb weight of the vehicle is 35 tons and in game it is 37 tons the ammunition and crew are definitely not 2 extra tons.
just sent the bug report out for the weight now to find a source for the Armor.

Wanna post the bug report here? Makes it easy to help gain attention
Also hate to tell you but BAE isn’t a valid source 90% of the time with gaijin

Now have russian docs for it and itll be accepted 100% true facts /s
