This thread is related to the game; I’ve seen the CV 9035 NL while looking for some vehicle to play and I’ve noticed that this variant currently sits at Rank VII while the CV 9035 DK sits at Rank VI, this also can be the reason why a Rank VII battle rating 9.7 light tank (540 000) is almost the same price as Rank VII battle rating 11.7 main battle tank as the M1A1 AIM, should a bug report be placed or is this intentional?
In my opinion I found this price way too expensive for a battle rating 9.7 light tank that could be much lower around 400 000 to 440 000, using as example, the Obj 122MT “MC” is priced at 400 000 (Rank VI, battle rating 8.7) and the Magach 6B Gal is priced at 440 000 (Rank VI, battle rating 9.3), I believe that pricing the CV 9035 NL down from 540 000 to 440 000 or even 450 000 may make the vehicle more appealing, considering this, I hope is mostly a mistake, since a helicopter, the Superhind Mk.IV is priced at 360 000, a battle rating 10.3 helicopter at Rank VI.

CV9035 NL also has thermals on the scout drone vs the DK. Ive asked Smin considering this is a pretty big advantage and he essentially ignored giving a reason as to why thats fine.
BR 9.7 is the edge of the rank change.
As for SL purchase, it’s ~800,000 for rank 7 vehicles irrelevant of BR.
Also you’re comparing the wrong vehicles.
RCVP is 750,000 SL.

Both CV 9035 NL and CV 9035 DK has thermal imaging devices and scout UAV, the only difference between both vehicles is the additional SidePRO armor on the CV 9035 NL, while some similar vehicles like the T-80UD and T-80UD/BE has battle rating differences by their capabilities like the thermal imaging which one has and the other don’t, I doubt a additional composite screens would give much advantages, same I believe a thermal imaging device would offer to a vehicle over other that doesn’t have it.
Scout drone one the NL has access to thermal sights whereas the DK does not. I literally said this. Again scout drone thermals are way more valuable as they allow for faster spotting of enemies from above especially on forest maps. Its a blatant advantage which Smin has ignored to answer
I’m comparing two of same vehicles with rank placement discrepancy, I’ve researched the RCV (P) without noticing this, while therer’s no difference on researching efficiency, why a helicopter at 10.3 at Rank VI is priced 360 000 when a light tank at 9.7 at Rank VII is priced 540 000? On top of that the RCV (P) is cheaper.
**When I mentioned “overpriced vehicle” in the title I meant the price to research, the points required to research it, the prices in Silver Lions are fine, nothing that someone can’t afford during the time it’s being researched by its squadron activity.

I don’t get how you don’t understand what im saying. Only rank VII vehicles have access to scout drones which have thermals on the drone itself. Idc about the armor. The 9035NL was planned to be 10.0 which is why it is rank VII. The devs removed IRST tracking from it and pushed it to 9.7 while being rank VII. Between the two vehicle the NL has composite SidePro armor and RoofPro armor alongside the biggest advantage being a recon drone with thermals. If you actually bothered test driving them you would notice that when flying the recon drone only the NL has thermals which again is a massive advantage. Gaijin should remove the NL’s drone thermals or put it back down in rank.
Scout UAV unit drone thermal imaging device is based on its Rank placement, it doesn’t depends on the vehicle itself, now I could understand, before I thought you was referring to the vehicle’s gunner and commander thermal imaging device.
My guess, that because they have different ranks. There is no thermals on scout drones at rank VI, and they start to appear only at rank VII and higher. It doesn’t make any sense honestly.
No again, as i stated before the NL is rank VII which is when scout drones on all light tanks gain thermal devices. The DK is rank VI. Having thermals on a drone is very strong especially at 9.7, gaijin should remove them but again after asking Smin why its okay to have a blatant advantage he ignored me. Again the 9035NL should either go down in rank or stay the same rank and lose its thermals. Or worst case scenario which im against. Is that it should go to 10.0 because its a blatant advantage that isn’t found with any other 9.7 light tank to my knowledge.
Thats what i was saying. Again it needs to lose its thermals because its insanely dumb to allow for one to have so many advantages at the same BR. The armor is actually pretty useful since 50 cal can’t hurt you.
I believe both of us is in favor of the same changes, in fact if this is the obstacle to reduce its Rank placement and researching price, I’m in favor, in anyway or another scout UAV units itself is a huge advantage.
Again I’ve always been on the stance that it shouldn’t have kept its rank VII status after it lost its IRST. The trade off for slightly more speed vs armor was fair but thermals on a drone is a huge advantage which completely negates the DK.
It should receive lower rank, this is the only solution that will not hurt it so much. Let it remain on the same BR, that at least it can be used in French 9.7 lineup.
CV90 NL also has significantly more protection with SidePRO and RoofPRO compared to the DK
Agreed which is what i mentioned in one of my other posts. France should keep its 9.7 lineup together
