Love how he flagged my spongebob sarcasm
Would the Czech version then be overweight by your standards? Again is that not a problem with how gaijin calculates weight then.
Sadly sarcasm and a constant cycle of negativity are not going to progress matters here.
I also haven’t flagged anything.
Never name dropped spongeboy me bob.
Would this be enough? They say it can take a higher gross weight than before, without increasing it’s actual weight compared to the Mk3 (DK/NL). Just because a vehicle can take more weight doesn’t mean the combat weight will magically increase, as space is the limiting factor, and that the extra gross weight is most likely so it can be able to carry heavier turrets like the D-series.
Again these types of things further push an understanding of the CV90 players frustration considering gaijin chose the most advanced version of the Cv9030 MK.IV then decided to go with the most basic version and mix data together is aggravating. If you have the CV9030 Mk.IV from Czech why not just add that model since people would want it. Especially since gaijin made this MK.IV cost 400k rp
I don’t understand. The apfsds (MK258) is listed as 706g per cartridge:
What i calculated above totals 500kg.
How does 38t become the 37t? if we assume the curb weight is 35t (Source) it should then in game be 35.5t or 36t at most.
Sadly this doesn’t really clarify much. It can be used as a supporting source for sure, but by itself, it doesn’t provide anything definitive.
What about the J11 pilot testimony how was that used as a primary source but this isn’t?
This is just more a general question about these types of sources
Im not even sure what we are referring to at this point. Im talking about the current matter. Video testimonials by themselves are never accepted as the sole source.
I’m sorry but in what way doesn’t “it can carry more weight without making the base vehicle heavier” prove that the combat weight didn’t increase? The extra tonnes of ammo it theoretically could carry to fill up those extra gross weight tonnes isn’t even present.

Please guys… when we are actually getting answers; sarcasm and being non productive is going to do the absolute opposite of help your case in any given situation.
Calm collected discussion supported by sources is practically the only way to go about this.
As there are currently sources providing values up to 38,000 for the operational weight. So clearly defined sources are needed that provide combat / operational values, rather than quite broad statements about weight changes.
If this approach is how this will continue, sadly there is no point in me continuing to answer here. The constant sarcasm and negativity are not going to promote further discussion of the vehicle or the topic at hand. I am here trying to progress matters and have provided all the answers and information that I can. If this will continue, there wont be anything further to add.
Depends on if gaijin model fuel, crew, and spike weight also. To me i don’t believe they correctly model the weight as 37 seems like a random number and without a dev to explain exactly how they came to that conclusion i believe they just guessed the weight cause it seems to heavy to think thats the actual weight with 3 crew and munitions. Id be interested in knowing the exact weight they got since it could just be a mistake they added too much weight.
Unless spikes weigh like 100kg each or so
Also do we know if the Czech used Spike LR2 or are they gonna mount other FnF missiles
That one is 1 with aps and 2 with the 35mm if you look at the pictures but asuming its the waight of the 40mm variation since its the biggest caliber mentioned in the spec sheet. This still makes me not understand why the one in game is so heavy. On another note if this is one of the sources ypur own devs used why not make the variant with aps and a bigger caliber to actually shake up the current meta around ifs in top tier… it would iirc be the first one to actually rival the 2s38 caliber/abount of penetration3
The only way i can see the weight being this high is if it inclueds the troops in the back but why dont we get 10 crew members as the cv90s comfortably fit 7 fully kitted soldiers in the back
If im able to find a reputable source on lets say the cv90nl mlu stating the operational weight and then calculate by deducting the weight of the 35mm and adding the weight of the 30mm and doing the same for the aps system and so on. Would that be a usable source if i were to provide all the data used in the calculations?
Probably not, you would have to find evidence for the 30mm version we have in game. Imo i think its unfair for gaijin to assume the heavier model is a reliable source but they make the game and its there rules to go by. Imo they should add the Czech version as rn it would add features MK.IV players want while fixing the whole weight problem.
You mean this?
