Seeing as this discussion is focused around the Mk.Iv family, We should make a concerted effort to bring the 35, 40 & 50 variants as suggestions.
If we get that discord up we could gather information there to compile it into a suggestion ready format for each vehicle.
Also, we could try and gather information on the cv90Mk.V if possible as Hägglunds is working on it, though i really don’t know more than that.

Bug report for the CV90, WaretaGarasu went ahead and made a report before mine and linked mine to his.
Thought id let everyone here know considering I ended up losing a radiator to some Artillery lol, also died to Artillery and some other smaller low caliber HE rounds

It has been accepted now so that’s a step in the right direction.
Accepted means we potentially wait months for a change just remember that. So don’t get your hopes up. I do expect this to be changed relatively soon considering its a minor bug but we will see.

Yeah, that’s why I wrote a step in the right direction. Not about to be fixed.
Id say it was a step, if we would actually see any changes to the vehicle. As stated by Smin the front right mud guard has been fixed but has yet to be added in with any patches. Idk if it was mentioned but the MK.III models also had the same problem.
Maybe they are waiting until they change the Armor to the correct values before adding the other fixes? Maybe the ammo? Who knows, again its been 2 mo ths since the MK.IV armor was reported, just hoping this thing doesn’t get the Gripen treatment lol.

With so many variants of the CV90 family i truly hope we get solid vehicle versions.
As stated by Smin its the Gripen C, and there are no plans to update it. So again only one nation is stuck with it and yet they have no interest to give it its proper radar or the 5th bomb pylon which has bwen accepted since its release. I’m going off topic sorry bout that.
I am speechless, this bug report Misrepresentation of the CV90’s IR and Heat Signature // Gaijin.net // Issues have been closed and denied with a comment that lacks any proof of its statement. I have contacted another admin on the forum for further clarification with an in deph explanation to my case.
I am asking anyone with pictures or video footage of the cv90 in thermal sight to send to me either by DM or here in this thread as a response. From my knowledge such images does not exist in its detailed entirety but i will take any pictures or videos sent to me.

They all are crossly misrepresented in the game to make it easier, just a game
Indeed, however when i see other IFVs with much reduced IR signature i would presume that the CV should receive the same treatment. It will never be fully accurate (and i buy that) but how it looks right now is way off.

You can take a look on the pictures from ingame that was attached as file images in the report. It only shows a few other vehicles but it is enough to get the picture.

Do you have any source for the ammo count? I couldn’t find anything online for it.
Also as it goes for weight Gaijin uses the CV90 MK.IV with LWS and Hardkill APS, I assume if you were to find the weight on those systems and the ammo plus crew you could see a estimate for weight. Gaijin says combat weight but until they actually show how they achieved that number i fully believe they honestly just dont believe it weighs 35t and just went with 37t as a safe bet. Imo it would be more safe to just add the version with LWS and APS so this isnt a problem but thats too difficult, more likely theyll sell the later models as premiums.
