But the question is if they removed ROC flag due to non-existing country, why those country flag didn’t removed as well?

It is an interesting point about flags. The flag of fascist italy is selectable, the flag of nazi germany (albeit a santised one) is used as the default flag for germany since the game’s release, the USSR no longer exists yet its flag is still the one that represents the russian tree.
If the flags of countries that no longer exist can be selected then I do not see why the flag of the republic of china (under its 1928-1949 borders) cannot be selected.

I mean, if they just name it “Republic of China” then you cannot really tell which is 1928-1949 RoC or the Modern RoC (Taiwan). Same reason why before people were fine with the Chinese tree just being called “China” because it is ambigious enough that it doesn’t make one country more significant than the other in name.

By the way, the Republic of China was established after the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, not in 1928

I say 1928-1949 because 1928 is when the flag in question was introduced, not the country itself. The flag before 1928 was different.

Honestly I think they should also add back the other flags. Removing the russian empire navy, weimar and japanese war time flag has been pretty lame.

I apologize for my statement. What I mean is that the Republic of China was founded in 1911, and the Blue Sky and White Sun Flag was not originally his national flag. The Blue Sky and White Sun Flag originally existed as the party flag of the Kuomintang

You’re correct, that flag is the Beiyang government, which was the internationally recognized government of the Republic of China between 1912 and 1928.
