A bad one when we’re talking about representation in a game. You tried to use this earlier to disregard my comments on the ROC Flag (being 1928-1949 and Taiwan’s use of it).

Flags of no longer existing nations like the USSR, fascist italy, nazi germany, or the DDR can be selected. So by extension I believe the flag of the ROC as it was during WW2 should be selectable as well.
Not to mention that the country still using that flag has a thriving military industrial complex with several domestic vehicles that could/do make valuable additions to war thunder.
That’s why I think the flag should be added in the custom flag functionality.
I honestly don’t get it. All I want is for the ROC flag to be restored. I didn’t even ask to remove the CCP flag.
Just because they can push back against us doesn’t mean we have to accept it — that’s not how things should work.

My take is the ROC/Taiwanese tree only exists to make China competitive. Without those vehicle sets China is basically Israel with a lot of gaps in the lineup making it less competitive. That is why they were added in the first place to appease Chinese investors/players, inflating their win rates through the use of another nations weapon sets. Now they are stripping the identity of the ROC/Twain tree to further appease these same investors/players who have become a much larger and louder group over the past few years who want to remain competitive but make it appear that it is because of actual Chinese vehicles and not because they have been augmented by Taiwan. Either the flags need to remain along with the vehicles or the vehicles should also go with the flag. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Also where is the mods in all of this? @J-16D_PLA has accused multiple people of Racism and keeps making politically-charged statements, along with @山_田_凉 insulting us repeatedly. Their worse comments have been hidden but they’ve not been warned and their other violations ignored.
It’s literally gaijins fault that domestic Chinese vehicles are in this state. They continue to hold unfair bias and Chinese tanks massively underperform in this game
I would love that, but an organized derailment and politicization of this thread was inevitable.
I want all Operator flags to be select-able it is a client-side feature and I fail to see how it can be harmful in any shape or form, if users in a certain region have issues with ANY of the select-able options I think that region should be locked to the default options to prevent any possible issue
No one recognizes the Taiwan flag

The Republic of China (1928-1949) was succeeded by the People’s Republic of China in 1949. Vehicles from this era are in the game, not as from Taiwan but from the current People’s Republic of China’s predecessor.
Nevermind the fact that some Taiwanese vehicles were recognised when they were used (Pre-1971).
What is wrong with these flags? I was looking forward to some of them.
IMO all flags of nations that are in the tech trees should be usable.
