This doesn’t answere the questions/concerns tho?
Unlike other examples listed, several vehicles in the Chinese tree are from Taiwan/ROC and are used under the Taiwanese national flag.
Why are you erasing them from the game?

Your opinion, I’m just doubtful.
Yeah true, the Republic of Vietnam* then. Republic of Vietnam for the US would be a better example. The Navy flag was removed but there is no Southern Vietnamese flag either.

In my opinion, China and Taiwan should get the North and South Korea treatment. In both cases they claim to be the real one all because a civil war, and in both civil war none of em signed a surrender, more like a very long ceasefire.
The taiwan flag must be ingame, cause it is historical, it was present during WW2 when they fought the japanese and even present now after china civil war.

That’d be the Republic of China (1912-1949), not Taiwan. Taiwan was an actual province of that country back then I believe.
gaijin should add the 1912 chinese flag because its cool looking. Plus it totally wont be mistaken for something else by ineducated players
Would come with Chinese Naval I think, as would Qing Dynasty. In game, the oldest ROC vehicle we have was post 1928.

yeah republic of china is the correct name. but I usually use the word taiwan bc popular term
careful this might get censored due to being accurate
The Republic of China was the name back in 1912-1949, it was only Taiwan once they broke away from Mainland China (in 1949 I believe).
it also makes it clearer which country you mean because calling them both “china” of some flavour is just messy.
but it always seems the chinese base complains about one thing and gaijin gets it done quicker than when people were rioting over the economy changes
american mains complain to your hearts content when the abrams gets thrown into another nation without representation.
Yeah cause the guys responsible for the UI would totally be able to help fix bugs/other issues
I had the ROC flag as my main chinese flag. yet i cant use that now because a playerbase said no with a snap of a finger like they own gaijin.
Not true. The ROC Flag was the Army flag, and was removed along with other army and naval flags. This includes the Japanese Imperial Naval Flag being replaced with the National Japanese Flag. Painting the Chinese as responsible at every turn doesn’t help us.
Army Flag
National Flag
ight then lets add the roc flag then idk whats stopping them if its not the chinese playerbase
Reminder we are talking abt Gaijin here. The System is still officially a WIP.
Whats stopping them from adding the Southern Vietnamese flag to the US? Nothing. They just work slow sometimes.
Im fine with that. if a nations in that tree it deserves to have its flag added to the flag thing. They all deserve representation. and just ignore the people who get mad people get to represent another nation
TBF they removed Naval ensigns from the menu, hence why the South Vietnam naval flag was pulled despite having been there.
Leaving in naval flags would open a whole can of worms about what can be allowed if they had been kept.
I want to know why they pulled the 50-Star US Flag, though, considering that’s literally just the US Flag since 1960, and should’ve been used in the current stat card images to begin with for tanks made after that time. It’s even been the flag longer than the 48-Star one was (1912-1959 being 47 years, and 1960 to now being 65, nearly 66 years).
Quite a silly move to pull the 50-Star version even though it absolutely belongs.
I understand that of course, just that no replacement has been given- like the Republic of China (both).
This I don’t know aswell. Still a WIP though, I’m sure they’ll come when released (or atleast not long after release, wishful thinking)
