Just turn off “Operator Flags shown in game” in the tool’s settings.

Yeah, but as I said, no matter what they do some people would still be pissed. So I’d say they are pretty wise about staying put and playing ostrich.

Wise if they care more about their wallets more than integrity, yes.
The idealist in me wants Gaijin to stand by their non-political stance and treat all the in-game operators to the same standard, even if a certain demographic is irrationally upset by this.
Maybe I’m naive for thinking or wishing that were possible.

Taiwan flag for China should be added, ignore any complaints from the Chinese Playerbase. Taiwan ≠ China, and there is a Taiwanese vehicle in the Chinese tech tree. Gaijin has to see past the political aspect of this, some players just want to represent their nation.

Can we get an official reason why Republic of China vehicles must be represented by an army flag while other operators can have their national flags?

That’s probably a no, they don’t want either side of the argument blowing up in their face.
Theyve chosen their stance. Probably as a result of merging the servers.
