Hello everyone, i want to introduce my suggestion which will enhance ground custom battles, “forced HUD off” setting, i’ll explain you what this option is, how it works, and why it will improve custom battles and community opportunities for content making.
What is it and how it work?
“Forced HUD off for all players” setting for custom battles is option which add for host ability to off HUD for all players in battle, it can be checkbox when you choose any ground battle(Arcade, Realistic, Simulator)in the end of list, and have 3 sub-options checkboxes under it, whole HUD is hide but map is still possible see on M button(by default)for mimic real life crew map interaction, and host can choose which from 3 elements of HUD show.
What is this three sub-options and how they work?
These three sub-options tied to main “Forced HUD off” setting is - “Show chat” on/off, “Show kill feed” on/off, and “Show hotbar” on/off
They allow host to make battle with their preferences - “Show chat” is make text chat visible if on, “Show kill feed” is make kill feed visible if on, “Show hotbar” show hotbar with shells, reload, night vision and other mechanics tank have, that just basic “/” button(by default)hotbar, match progress and objective can still be seen in tab.
**Why it very good addition, who will appreciate it most and how it will help creativity and content makers? **
This addition add immersion to custom battles for players who want more realism and immersion in game which is will allow players get desired most realistic battles.
3 sub-options is will help create highly immersive but playable battle where chat is imitate communication between vehicles, kill feed is harmless for immersion and give more info in battle, hotbar is help players see reload and which shells they have, imitating that in real life you can see it inside tank, map open on M button(by default) is imitate commander and crew look on paper map focusing on it and less focus on surrounding(map seen on whole screen as you know), tab is still usable for see match status - objectives, how much points teams have and other info.
This addition will very help community to create content about and in game - immersive battles, recreation historical battles in full immersion, roleplay, creating videos and most cinematic content about it, that can attract more new players for game who want realistic immersive gameplay.
The most important - it don’t affect random battles and matchmaking, because it pure optional only in custom battles and can be chosen as settings, so ground random battles in any mode(Arcade, Realistic, Simulator)still same as before.
I believe this won’t be hard to implement as this is just addition to make only some HUD elements be shown or nothing absolutely, players can choose their preferences easily.
