In breaking up weaponry by BR, it allows gaijin to specifically target a br preset with a nerf if an aircraft is overperforming there, literally 10x easier to nerf an ‘OP’ plane now than ever.
Instead of constant doomsaying, think critically for a moment, not only does it give the player more options, it also gives gaijin more avenues to balance vehicles

@Smin1080p_WT what will happen to some aircraft that were rpeviously added just to introduce advanced munitions at higher BR but on same plane? Like Thai Alphajets, both are the exact same model but one with AAM. Will the “earlier” variant be removed?
Does this also mean that like…a Mig-21 with R-60s or R-27s can see a Typhoon with just guns?
I feel like for this to actually work, the Air BR range for vehicles has to go to something like 18.0.

From the context clues provided in the article, you can see that it will not allow you to entirely remove weaponry from an aircraft so it only has guns, rather it will restrict some types

Will this apply to more Fox-1 Premiums? like for example with the F-2A premium would you be able to take AAM4’s instead of the Sparrows at the cost of going to 14.0?

Also gaijin will increase a sensible bottom limit for these aircraft, a top tier aircraft doesn’t magically go to 10.0 because you don’t carry AAMs
