Hello everyone :), what I would like to introduce today is CS/VN3C

Introduction

CS/VN3C is a 4x4 ultra light airborne vehicle manufactured by NORINCO company. It first appeared at the Zhuhai Airshow in 2014 and was officially equipped in the military in 2020. In addition to three crew members, it can also carry four infantry.

The vehicle uses the ZPT99 universal single person turret, with the main gun being the ZPZ02 30mm automatic gun, which is a replica of 2A72 and can fire APDS shells. The vehicle can also be equipped with HJ73C anti tank missiles for attacking enemy armored targets. As it is an airborne vehicle, the missiles are not installed most of the time, but are manually installed on the launch pad after landing.

It equipped with a 4x4 diesel engine that can provide a maximum of 170 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 110km/h on the road with a maximum climbing angle of 32 °. It has amphibious capabilities and can travel at a top speed of 6km/h on water. The power compartment of the vehicle is in the front, the cockpit is in the center, and the passenger compartment is at the rear. A wave deflector is installed above the power cabin.

The vehicle‘s body is welded with armored steel, but due to its airborne nature, its very light weight does not provide strong protective capabilities. Can achieve frontal protection of 7.62mm armor piercing bullets and side protection of 7.62mm ordinary bullets.

The VN3C is a highly maneuverable airdropped light combat vehicle that can reach a top speed of 110km/h on highways and reach combat positions at a very fast speed, making it a skilled scout. Its main weapon can effectively damage the enemy’s side, and missiles can also pose a direct threat to the enemy. However, as he is an airborne vehicle, the stabilizer cannot function properly during high-speed maneuvers. Having amphibious capabilities also allows him to launch surprise attacks in areas that are not easily accessible by other vehicles. Suggest placing it on 8.3.

There should be 2 options - one with ATGM and one without so the other can be placed around 7.0 +

Actually, there should be three types. In addition, there is a basic model equipped only with a single 14.5 machine gun.

Reminder that VN3 and CS/VN3 refer to different vehicles. Just as how VN11 and CS/VN11 refer to different vehicles. As far as I know, only the VN3 has a 14.5mm armed version.

It should also be noted that the below picture is of a supposedly improved QL550 fitted with a ZBD86G-type turret as seen by the smoke dischargers being on the front of the turret as opposed to the sides.

Here is a picture of QL550s next to CS/VN3Cs to help show the differences.
