Just because they’re worse than other upcoming systems doesn’t make them bad. They might not be comparable in a 1:1 comparison but the CS/SA5 can do things the IRIS-T SLM can’t and vice versa
Do things like what? Having below 10km range and not being able to shoot down some helicopters? The gun isn’t even that big of an advantage

It’s capable of firing missile without relyingon getting a radar lock
It’s much smaller and easier to survive in

everything can intercept helicopters within 1.5km. “killing ground targets” good luck doing that. the fact that you dont need a radar lock doesnt change anything since its so much easier to get a lock with the radar menu anyway. surviving in such a piece of shit doesnt do anything. the only real use of this anti air is to kill helicopters, which can be done effectively by any other anti air.

They could at least fix bugs people reported since day 1 of release with the seekr and the missile loft that is absurd, same problem we had with fox3 when they had been added to the game and later fixed shortly, i fear this spaa will be gimped for years and thats the problem, like gepard stingers were

The lofting is my favorite part of the CS/SA5 it allows for some really nice kills when the target gets behind cover or is treetop level.
And yeah it still has some issues with tracking logic in longer range shots where it never let’s the IR seeker acquire the target, I’ve reported this myself aswell. And I hope it does get fixed
But by no means do i think its bad its just not on the same level as the other new SPAA’s

ye its not bad, but if the missiles work properly with the radar, and the search radar was better + able to use searching with tws without actively tracking people, then it really would be good and not mid.

its really not bad but definitely lacking compared to the new stuff and definitely the third worst out of the new spaa pool from the past update and next upd. Hopefully china sweden japan and probably israel get a (better) multi vehicle soon :]
