CS/SA5 (Early)

Yes, sorry. I meant the TOR. I just keep seeing so many forum posts about the Pantsir that it got into my head.

I’m really salty about them not even adding the HQ-17A, which was at least a Chinese wheeled chassis.

They just put the Russian TOR into the Chinese tree - the tree with the potential for the most original, domestic top tier SPAA. They put the Russian TOR there.

Not the CS/SA5 (Type 625E), CS/AA5, Yi-Tian, Yi-Tian II GA58, FK1000, FK2000, FK4000, Hunter 1, TC-1L, SWS-2 (LD-35), HQ-17A, JRVG-1A or JRVG-1B.

That’s THIRTEEN (13) THIRTEEN DOMESTIC CHINESE SPAA. That they could have added.
And they put the goddamn 100% Russian one in the Chinese tree, because they realized it would suck too much in the Russian tree, because it’s directly worse than the Pantsir.

Oh my God. Just thinking about it makes me positively furious. So much anger at Gaijin for the TOR being in the Chinese tree. Insurmountable anger.

I think we need a correction, 625E means the vehichle is using a 25mm gatlin with 6 barrel, so is not 30mm and clearly have no relation with AK630.
And, as far as i can search, chinese 30mm ammo is totally different with frail USSR 30mm ammo, it is totally different design

by the way, now it prrove that this vehicle have at least two type, with radar or not. The vehicle with radar can share enemy info with those dont have radar via datalink. also this vihicle is not using to replace tor , and shouldn’t be chinese top tier spaa, is a cheaper choice for earlier spaa, like maybe 04A. The core purpose is wheel underpan with new design fire system is much cheaper so they can arm those medium armor battalion.
The heavy battalion will still use crawler spaa.

In fact, the main gun of Type 625 can be replaced as needed. Due to the use of a 25mm gun in the design of this car in China, it was named Type 625. However, when it was exported, it was replaced with a 30mm gun for compatibility with ammunition, but the name was still only Type 625E (E means export). However, the missile guidance of Type 625E and CS/A5 is different, which leads to different variants. Their early and later models also have different appearances and chassis, making it difficult to distinguish them in detail at times

It’s coming!

this is for the mobile game and not for war thunder

You’re right… As if the loss of resources in naval battles wasn’t enough, we now have the mobile version as well.

Chinese LAV AD? Hell yeah! +1

Does the mobile game share same tank models with War Thunder PC? If so, there is a chance it will come to the main game as well.

More gatlings equals more better

I am against it. Because China has one of the most powerful SAM systems after the USSR. Why give them even more powerful SAM systems?

You mean TOR/HQ-17?
Well it’s not hard to search about the problems of these VLS missiles’ in game performance…
And China have maybe 5 more SAMs like this CS/SA5(or PLB625E, LD630 or anyelse name you like)

Well, let’s take things in order.
TOR-1 is the most powerful SAM on its BR, its range exceeds 12 km, plus the speed of the missile, it can intercept missiles. HQ-17 is also the most powerful SAM on its BR after Pantsir. Now compare these SPAA with the US or Britain. This is where the real problems are.

The SAM in this post is just a MANPAD.

You’ve never even seen a tor have you. They’re sarh missiles that are modeled as mouse guided for some reason. They’re incredibly smoky missiles that give the enemy a launch warning meaning it’s completely useless against any plane that has an rwr or any player who has eyes, which leaves very few things that it can shoot at.

Might as well tell the enemy team in the chat every time your gonna fire.

I already met them when I tried to gain altitude in an A-10A and was shot down at a distance of 11 km.

we are getting the regular version now
