Before anyone posts, please read this.
It’s true that other nations also have many vehicles that have poor modelling. Though when we look at Chinese vehicles they have the most ridiculous stats when they come to the dev server first. Gaijin fundamentally does not understand the correct way to research Chinese vehicles. In fact, TEC (I don’t like like him as a CC) literally said in one of the dev stream watches that Chinese vehicles always seem to come to the dev server in a hilariously incomplete state, which is true. And yes, the dev server is subject to change. Except when it is not.
They implemented the VT-4A1 to the live server sporting WORSE armor than the MBT-2000 (its direct predecessor) even though it had ERA that was more advanced, and had higher protection values.
Almost all of the changes you see in the dev server regarding Chinese vehicles is due to the input of the Chinese War Thunder community. That’s the reason why you see so many issue reports regarding them. It’s because Gaijin always gets them so wrong at the start. Unfortunately even the credible sources get commonly “not a bug’d.”
And Gaijin’s attitude is not good at all. They went as far as to claim that the VT5’s primary designer’s own statements on the tank that HE designed is not a reliable source. This is so ridiculous that it is not even funny.
And also, why can Su-27SM have double belly racks for its R-77s when it’s not even the same airframe as the Su-35S (which actually has them)? By Gaijin’s logic they could’ve gave J-11B 8x PL-12s by incorporating the J-16’s pylon count but they haven’t.
The report on spall liners has been stalled for years. ZLT-11’s reverse speed report was accepted years ago yet they still haven’t even given an RESPONSE, let alone implement anything regarding that matter. ZTZ99A and pretty much every high tier Chinese vehicle have some aspects that are copy-pasted from Soviet vehicles when there is clear evidence that suggest that it uses a domestic device that commonly has better performance.

I’m not sure where they find the information on the Rafale, they barely disclose any reasoning for the changes they make.
EFT’s radar is a travesty as someone who plays the UK one from time to time.

Remember, this game specifically caters to money makers. It’s why Germany and US constantly gets buffs, and is under BR’d (PZH at 7.7 anyone), and are consistently the meta. Meanwhile minor nations get constant nerfs (Fox), up BR’d (literally just the French tree), no fixes (HESH), and the only time we get anything good? 99% of the time it’s nerfed, up BR’d, and will get pumped full of bugs. Oh, and if we don’t get screwed over, you have American mains begging for a nerf every five seconds (Rafale).

We should request Gaijin to attach the data and information sources used by each vehicle gaijin at the bottom of each DEV. If the load has new issues that pass the review, gaijin will add them to the bottom of DEV. Since Gaijin only accepts public information, we have the right to demand that Gaijin make it public, which is a reasonable demand

Stuff should be modelled as accurately as possible.
Do we think Chinas poor treatment is down to as it stands in the real world they have or are in the process of surpassing Russia in terms of aviation and military hardware. The devs dont want to make the Type ZTZ99B superior to the T-90M or T-80BVM in the risk they upset the massive Russian player base?
The same with the Flankers?

Imagine how good this game could be if someone just bought it off them binned the free to play mode and made it triple AAA title, with devs that care and owners not out to farm as much cash from the playerbase…
My dream for War thunder is we get to create our own custom servers one day and can run date appropriate events and not this weird mashup of everyone vs everyone.

The only problem is how companies tend to threat free-to-play triple A titles, Call of Duty Warzone is a good example of this, in comparison to Battlefield I; Both games are just competitive player-versus-player first person shooters, but one is pay-to-play and still has solid community and no advantages through loot boxes and premium items apart from cosmetics
And the other is just a money milking machine, personally I had a incredible experience in gaming when I tried Call of Duty Warzone on console when it first came out but nowadays is just a repetitive experience. Expecting some company which could buy the rights of War Thunder and develop the game and still keep the game free-to-access and free-to-play is stupid, as a free-to-play game isn’t going to give profit, and we have tons of proof why this doesn’t work.
When a company buy another smaller, it’s expecting profit, their main goal is never going to be to make the community or the game any better, this is just symptom of good administration. Companies with the size at least of Wargaming for example will always aim the profit and the game itself could be much worse.

the problem is, for gaijin, it’s player increased times over past years after the TT start reaching modern vehicles, so as incomes. but the developers seems hard to deal with this, with more and more bugs and more and more delays.
and things start to become strange, for example the unreasonably stubborn report manager.

It is important to note that the model of the FB-10A missile are incorrect, implemented in game as FB-10, an issue that is already acknowledged by gaijin, and also the missile is now using HY-6 as a place holder. I believe more would be finalized when the second dev comes online, but yes, the point that Chinese vehicle tends to be underrepresented by gaijin stood strong.

To be honest, if it’s really as you said, then it’s a sign of inferiority. According to the news, the French Air Show will invite China’s J-10C to participate. If this news is true, it shows that they are neither servile nor overbearing and are confident. Obviously, the latter will be more respected than the former.
They will find it difficult to make it over, cause that also requires like a 50 people delegation all the way, and to fly over half the world and get permission for it isn’t exactly easy. I doubt J10CEs will make its way alone as well, they will also likely fly over AWACS and a Y20 over, which the French may reject due to space.
i hope it becomes just a better lavad with the apfs not being 20 rounds
