Crossplay Game Modes

I am just curious on what Gaijin was thinking about preventing players from playing the game when Crossplay is disabled on Xbox and PlayStation. When I play any other game, I still have access to the full game. Call of Duty? I can still play multiplayer and zombies. Battlefield? I can still play multiplayer. Rocket League? I can still play the full game. Civilization games, still allowed to play the game, multiplayer and single player. Rainbow Six Siege, I can play with only my people, and still access the full game and all events. Even Enlisted allows me to access the full game with Crossplay Disabled, which is weird since Gaijin owns both Enlisted and War Thunder. Yet somehow, if I were to load into War Thunder right now and play Xbox Only, I am prevented from playing anything but Arcade. I am not allowed to play Realistic battles, not allowed to play Sim battles, not allowed to play Helicopter PVE, not allowed to partake in any events.

It makes zero sense for specifically War Thunder to disallow Crossplay Disabled gameplay, considering the fact every other game out there has managed to allow players to play the full game without forcing their console players to play with PC players. What is the answer to this? Queue times? Bollocks, because I can still play Arcade, albeit waiting 3.5-4 minutes. Also, I have waited far longer trying to get into an Air Realistic Match at 8.0, naval is at least 6 minutes, Sim battles, I could be waiting for 20 minutes and still need to create a new lobby. Oh, and how about that Nuclear Thunder event, I’ve seen people waiting over 30 minutes. So clearly it is not the queue times. There is no good and reasonable answer I can think of that can possibly explain how every other game manages to allow Xbox and PlayStation players to play by themselves, except for War Thunder.
