Why the hell this bugged thing is still in the game?
I mean, if there was a constant and understandable rule about it, why not. Like leaving the match or crashing during the first minut (to be penalised for leaving an uptiered game).
But, it seem there are no logic at all.
My pilot can be available after a crash at take off, or after getting killed during the first minuts, or after 20 minuts with severals actions (kills).
While it can also be unavailable after a crash at take off, or after a long match.
Believe me, I tried to understand the logic. But I don’t see any?
If it’s a bug, why the hell they don’t remove it?
Interesting question about the rules. My working assumption:
If someone else is credited with a kill due to their own actions, you should not be locked.
Crew lock will only applied for a certain time window and only while the mission is still going on.
I wonder if that rule holds.
Clearly the rule doesn’t always work.
I very recently made a game with 2 kills and ~5min + of flight time, and unfortunately crashed while landing (note to myself : virtual instructor seem to not perfectly protect you from spin entry with F14 :) ). The crew was not available for 2min after I left the game.
One of the worst case I had, but for sure, making few points (base, ground or air kill), getting killed quickly, and still having your pilot not available happen a lot.
Extremely annoying.
And where is the conflict with my rules? Did someone get a kill credit for you?
The time window (or game) ended 2 min after you left.
There is a 9min timer.
Doesnt matter what you do during that time, if you crash/Jout/leave, you get crew lock.
Spend 3 min then crash, 6 min crew lock.
Spend 8 min, 1 min crew lock.
In air rb, if you die to an enemy, the timer goes away.
