Crew locked in the top tier multi-platform AA

I keep getting crew locked in my multi-platform AA. I do nothing wrong. Except die ealry to spawn rushers that target aa. (stat padders) Im getting punished? Why snail?

If you think there is a bug with the crew lock then you can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

I have. The devs dont care.

If your report hasn’t been handled in a long time then you can send a private message to one of the Technical Moderators and ask about it. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.

Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.

This is a ton of effort. Why arent bug reports watched better and why do players have to work this hard to get the game running better?

Ill do it, but no other game i play takes this much effort.

Id love to just report and play.

There are sadly so many more reports that come in than they are able to handle at times. I assume that the ones handling them also have different areas they handle and if they go on vacation or get sick there is instantly going to be a backlog.

I also assume that they handle them in order of severity as well as if the reports are complete or not. But that is just a guess from my part.

But the small community of us sim players are not seen nearly as much. It just sucks. The sim community is tiny, so we arent really watched or listen to unless we make a big deal in the forums or bug reports.

We would love to feel loved. Thanks for your speedy responses.

Ive played this game since 2013, in my mind a player with that much experience would be valuable to refining the game.

I don’t think the bug report has anything to do with SIM though does it?

I do get it in general though, from both sides. It doesn’t sound fun to feel forgotten about but i also understand that it doesn’t really make financial sense to put extra effort into something justa smaller portion of the player base plays. But then again if extra effort is put in then maybe more players would play, i don’t know.

Both yes and no, i’ve met plenty of workers that has worked decades in a field but barely know the basics when asked about it and i’ve met people who started their field just one year ago and know more about it than most others at the same workplace.

I personally think it’s more about the ideas and opinions in of themselves, not who voices them, that matters most.

Theres very good reasons a lot dont play top tier sim. I see it said every time i play it. I would love to help this game get more sim players. RB is just World of tanks without health bars, and i left wot to play this.

Ive seen so many ads where WT calls the game a simulator. But RB feels like an arcade game. I have a list im sure you wouldnt want to me putting here thats wrong with simulator. And I know id be valuable to fixing whats wrong with it.

Unfortunately I truly do feel, through my years of efforts, that im unheard. I get ignored, when in truth im trying to help.

Well, if you have suggestions for changes to the game then feel free to create a suggestion here on the forum. If you want to create one you can do so in the suggestion section. That section is however pre-moderated and only posts that follow their rules and guidelines will get posted and it can take a couple of weeks for a post to get reviewed for publication. If it gets accepted and made public it then has a chance to get sent to the developers as a suggestion later on. A handfull of them are picked every month to get sent to the developers.

A couple weeks? There needs to be a system better tailored for gamers responses and feedback to the game. From our perspective it feels like theres no real chance to get change.

We have to make suggestions following strict guidelines, that take a couple weeks to get reviewed. Then MAYBE our suggestion gets picked. But if we have many, we have to go through the proccess many times. Meaning it could take MONTHS to get heard or have most or some of our changes heard.

And thats if it happens. Im just trying to make more aware of how hard this is for players. Especially ones of a small community that already have many things on the list and dont feel heard already. Gaijin is setting players up, for if there ever is a competitor to WT thats better for players the game will have a mass exodus.

Im only trying to give you my perspective. Because in truth im ready for a competitor that would listen more. Ive been a guinea pig for this game for so long. But no one has made one yet. One day that may change. and WT will lose a lot of players that day. Unless this becomes easier. We have to be heard more. Not randomly selected, but accepted.

Please, im not trying to be disrespectful. Just letting you know how it looks from my side. Way down here. Youve been kind to listen to me.

Imagine if it was the other way around, the developers would then get peppered with posts that make no sense or suggest changes that are outright hurtful to the game. there would be no filter and at that point i would personally stop listening to all of it in favour of actually working on the game.

It’s a much better system to have several steps of filters, first is just if the post is structure in a way where it’s easy to follow and understand (and follows the general standards for something to get implemented at all), then other players have a chance to have their voices heard on the suggestion, maybe you have made a great one or maybe it’s full of mistakes you hadn’t thought about and the change would ultimately be bad for the game. Then after that it can get sent to the developers, they then only need to actually look at suggestions that are easy to understand, make sense and have a lot of other players comments on it as well. A lot easier to make a judgement in that situation and the players in the comments might even mention stuff that the developers hadn’t thought of either.

You have to think about that it’s not only reasonable players that are trying to get their changes through, it’s also players that don’t think more than 2 seconds on their idea or just straight up have bad ideas and stick to them. Filters are needed, and two steps is a reasonable amount, first filters out spam and posts that are impossible to understand what they even want, second filters out more complex ideas that might be bad for more complex reasons that are easy to miss but maybe one or two players in the masses might spot.

How the game is set up now the player base is the beta testers. So when we catch the issues we have a chance to be heard. I do not like this system.

Im sure the devs are smart enough to side step those suggestions that are bad or just trolls. I know they arent low iq. Im not paid to work this hard to fix the game’s issues. I actually pay you guys to have to squeeze my suggestions through. And maybe ill get heard.

You have to see some issue in that, right? The game is built around players pointing out issues, and maybe those issues get heard. Players pay for this service.

Just today i saw a player get so mad about how sim is played they left to play another game. Just imagine another war fighting vehicle game comes out, how bad will the players bleed off?
