Do you have a link to the server replay (and a timestamp for when you got shot down)?
That looks a bit odd yeah, i would create a bug report for it. You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

try resetting your game and checking for updates, the last few times I have had that bug it turned out there was a patch queued to download and the issue stopped after it was applied.
I’ve had a few crew locks from being killed recently too
