Crew lock disaster

I play the game, hunting down the enemy, suddenly somebody from my team ramms me from behind. Then I get 3 minutes crew lock.

The next time I also chasing an enemy, the other enemy destroys my plane, and when I’m back in hangar, I get also 3 minutes crew lock ban. JUST FOR PLAYING??? Just for playing!

Fix crew crew lock or otherwise remove it!!!

It have to be fixed cause the whole if they remove it people in ground can just leave without pentalty I feel for air it should be removed though

I get 8 minutes of Crew lock I’m gone. Game goes off and one less guy is playing WT.Nice work.

I did hear that crew lock was actually made to stop bots from logging in after a game and not to actually punish players for leaving. I don’t know if anybody can chime in on that one and tell us if it is true.
If ODL is not a crime in Gaijin’s eyes then a punishment makes no sense but then you could say the same about Spawn camping.

Crew lock is almost a useless feature that does more harm than good, people would still leave and play other nations, people respawn because they find the match fun, and they respawn not because they don’t want to get crew lock.

The feature is about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe.

Crew lock is pointless now; either the missile or the closest opponent gets the kill.

But your game is sometimes bugged where you get a crew lock anyway.
Remove it now.

That is the big question, what is crew lock actually trying to do, what is it there for, what is it combating that is such a big problem in the game that the developers had to implement it in the first place.
It seems a solution to a problem that does not really exist or has been blown out of all proportion, or an easy solution to a problem that has been made by the developers.
It is a useless feature.

I guess it should punish ppl leaving the game early and if you crash or j-out to refuse a kill.
What stays is leaving the game early because e.g. the matchmaker doesnt fit you.

but this can fixed in other ways, e.g. 100 000 SL fine leaving within the first 120 seconds.

this would drain SL out of the game. but tbh if someone really wants to leave and gets fined with SL it doesnt matter for the match, the person is demotivated, so it is -1 player anyways.

All the punishments do not solve the problem of why people are leaving though is it ?
You will always have a certain percentage that will do this for whatever their personnel reasons. I always one death leave and if things look ridiculously unbalanced ( the normal situation for any game it seems), then I will just go back to the hanger than provide an easy kill for somebody when the game has actively given them all the advantages it can.
It is an awfully unbalanced game and I am beginning to believe it is intentional and is actually part of the programming that hands one side or the other a stack of advantages that predetermine the games outcome.
Even when you win when you think you have lost was it actually the team that suddenly never missed a shot and one shot killed the other team after minutes of missing, bouncing and ghost shells ? How come after playing so badly there is a miraculous improvement, especially with all the cheating and RNG in the game.
With so much out of you actual control it is not like a game of football or the such, it is an unsolvable issue really as people will always do it and you will never please everybody, but it is a bit like your car is losing oil so you spend money topping the oil up every day but never investigate why there is an oil leak in the first place.
