Crew damage isn't proportional

So, I have an AA tank and fire on a medium tank and it’s crew is all red. it’s response time is the exact as a fully fresh crew. Why does this not mess the tank and severely slow them down?!

because artificially limiting a players ability to do things isnt fun for 90% of people

Crew memeber who are heavily injured will go slower but not by a significant amount.

You mean like the crew skills?

Even crew stun was too much to ask.

So you have a 75mm AP pen the front of a tank, rip the commanders leg off and pepper the entire crew with fragments and the tank is still able to retaliate immediately 🤷🏻‍♂️

Because slowing the game down is fun for nobody

Yes exactly like that, most of the playerbase dislikes crew skills

Legs are overrated

Probably more like when we had that mechanic where if your pilot got yellowed, your plane suddenly could only pull like 10% AoA.

Tbf it’d be both more realistic and make rifle caliber rounds more effective which could lead to maybe tuning damage models to be more realistic as well rather than having 20mm and .50 cals rip wings off like flak rounds

It would be more realistic but it was awful for gameplay.

This destroys risk reward benefits. If you don’t get the benefit of hittnig their crew from the side then what? This will be worse with infantry if they are running around with RPGs. When every tank starts to instantly turn and kill them this game will get screemed out of existance. This is part of the reason nobody uses strategy. Because the game has to make you deal with real consequences to make you start to think.

This could be fine for arcade mode. But realistic ground should have such restrictions.
