R73 should be a massive upgrade over r60m, but in game you’re correct its not that much better outside of the irccm.

Equal seeker performance would be alongside the R-74M with its dual band seeker.

The AIM-9R was an imaging seeker like the AIM-9X, it unfortunately doesn’t have any parallelswith other nations so I doubt we will see that.

seems like a terrible idea, if we’re going next gen dogfight missiles we should be seeing the asraam, 9x, iris-t and mica IR and you don’t wanna see those lol

r73m sits in between aim9m/r73 and aim9x/r74m/iris-t/asmraam.

I’m kind of 75 (no) - 25 (yes) on a better R-73. It’s still a decent missile despite only being limited to 45 degree off-bore

That was the point, unless we’re going ahistorical route and pretending that the AIM-95 saw wider service than it did.
There are no options, other than the AIM-9R or Block 1 AIM-9X.

The M-10 provides the Python 4-like seeker without the need for anything else

Please, prove the 9M-10 has any increase in seeker, guidance or missile performance. All I can find is changes to make it more durable.
And AIM-9R should come as that a better equivalent to the others

But isn’t it the same as a 9M otherwise? At least let AIM-9 have seeker advantage if it cannot have missile performance increase like the others
