A lot of vehicles are vulnerable to the .50 cal, that’s not a valid excuse to downtier it. For a GRB lineup you could have the Ru 251, M47, Wiesel and Luchs. It’s not much though, and I agree more 7.3 vehicles would come in handy.
What? I use quotes for a reason. Read what I quoted. Yes, it doesn’t matter that the T92 has a 76mm gun instead of 90mm because it also reloads almost twice as fast…
What? Read closer in the future. I didn’t say “this is the main reason to downtier it!”
You are grasping at straws and it’s obvious, you know that right? M47 is another premium and Wiesel/Luchs are very specific vehicles that are not generally useful in a lineup besides as niche backup. You can’t make a lineup out of 2 premiums and 2 autocannon vehicles at 7.3.
Look at the AML-90/ELAND-90. They are both 90mm heatfs slingers, but they lack the cross country performance of the RU-251, they can be penned by .50 cals frontally, and they get arguably worse movement abilities in general, as they lack a reverse gearbox as well.
THEY ARE 7.7
Ru251 at 7.0
not with that HEAT-FS shell
For like 3 shots, then it’s a similar reload
I don’t know why people are getting so bent out of shape about the 90mm HEAT-FS, it’s the same hunk of shit shell that you get on the 5.7 M36B2. It’s not a big deal
You can replace an ammo rack
Compared to M46 and German needs a LT at lower BR, I even believe the RU251 could be 6.7, heat-fs doesn’t make sense for such a high BR vehicles, unless gaijin delete M36’s
It fits in at 7.0 with other similar vehicles like C13 T90
Idk if its just me but the Eland 90 was one of the most unstable Gun platforms I ever used. I haven’t used it recently but maybe I’m just bad though.
The Ru 251 exclusively has a massive lineup.
C13 T90 has worse ammo, worse platform, and is slower.
All of Ru 251’s equivalents are 7.7.
??? its a real nice platform idk how you got to this conclusion, if you want bad try the Ratel with the same turret
Both are very unstable
Well the ratel is over a full br lower, where you barely see any stibilized tanks, so it is less of an issue, and on my experience it’s actually more stable.
doesnt change that the Ratel platform would still be bad at 5.3 as far as mobility and gun handling go.
Ive found the Eland stable enough to fire while moving quite fast a few times
the ratel 90 is still quite good at 6.3, much better than the eland at 7.7, and with the eland you keep having the same gun handling issues, but arugably worse as at these br other tanks will have much better gun handling than you.
that is only because (like the jewish sherman) it has a shell which negates ALL armour at the BR ruining the armour meta at the BR so you just don’t need to aim too hard ever.
I don’t appreciate HEAT shells of such raw power being able to shoot a panther in the face
I think it would be fine at 7.0. It’s comparable to the French ELC Bis, which actually does alot of things better (aside from having the ability to scout because Gaijin). Not to mention that it has that crappy high velocity shell that is really lacking in post-pen damage unlike the HEAT-FS of the ELC Bis for example.
Ah, yes, good ol’ BR compression. It’s sad how most tanks are nothing but paper, although I must say the Israeli Sherman is quite mediocre in uptiers (from what I’ve heard). Still, being able to yolo pen everything is bs.
Not really, the ELC is abysmal, and I’d say not as mobile as the Ru 251. It also can’t rotate the turret fully, and having only 2 crew members is unfortunate. Yet again, having a HEAT-FS at 6.0 is ridiculous.
