If gaijin does expand to which sources it uses in the future( i assume at some point it kinda has to happen because of the modern weapons we are about to receive) i think i would not mind then. Payloads can be varied in game, if it tracks them moving then there is really no issue. Top of the tank and the tank is dead.
These in particular are yes. but there isn’t much of a difference, they both fit on the BRU-55 / -57 or BRU-61.
Would you guys be interested if I make a suggestion thread for American CAS on the AGM 169 if I can find good sources? I don’t see anyone made one yet.
Go for it, live your best life king.
No i do get that. But my point is that adding a weapon that allegedly exists and allegedly is an IIR Scene Matching weapon that functions allegedly the same to the ones we have in game and can allegedly be used by the planes we have in game is quite a ridiculous move compared to the amount of sources necessary to achieve even the slightest success in the average bug report. I dont think anyone can deny that the usual standards when it comes to additions to the game are not met in this case
And why should an israeli built and exported missile go anywhere else first lmao?
Welcome to the game full of prototype vehicles that didn’t work, weapons that weren’t finished and adapted weapons that don’t work how they would IRL.
This has been the game for the last 14-15 years I’ve been playing.
maybe because they dont need one in low tier. even us tree dont need them.
popeye would mean long range fire forget missile f4E who sit at 11.3.
only way to add them is for f16 and f15.
I expect to see them exclusively on F-15I and the Popeye lite on F-16I
The game ive been playing used to have some standards when it came to modern additions.
Notoriously well enforced standards at that, it seems those have been turned into a toggle for when it’s convenient
Yep.
The amount of stuff rejected because it was an incomplete prototype, or a particular variant of an aircraft never carried it etc is very long and yet the kh-38MT with the very… thin evidence of it’s existence is allowed in. Great example - the desert warrior can’t get the decent apfsds because it never used it, even though it can fire it and the round exists.
If it’s for balance, then they should just say that rather than dancing around it.
Im just wondering when we can get (HEAT-ASRAAM) Typhoon as a replacement for Brimstones :P
I would too like some Brimstone 2’s
Lmao neither is kh-38mt.
I don’t know where the devs even got mt, it was only even proposed as an export weapon also. So in all reality the kh-38 should only exist on the Su-30MKM (and even then it’s obviously a CRAZY stretch)
The thing is it’s advertised as the Kh-38MLE and the model with the short fins literally has Kh-38MLE written in the side of it, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a laser seeker. I doubt they would misname a missile on advertising and on the actual frame
I would like to see if the devs could prove that there is an actual singular functioning missile. Because the thing is, the “Kh-38mte” on that su-27 looks a LOT like the kh-38mle mockup.
Either not like we dont already have tons of fake stuff in this game so it doesn’t really matter, in reality the only thing that needs to be done is every nation getting the same capability. I think the devs took a step in the right direction by giving everyone spice 250s, but I still would prefer storm shadows on Italian and UK tornados and other stuff with a little more stand-off capability and speed.
Storm shadows really wouldn’t be all too OP as it would be limited to just 2x
sadly, no, bcs will affect russian tanks… end
@racimazzedine @Lawrence777 Ok I did my research on the AGM-169 and I don’t think it will work. I could vouch for IR guidance only, but it’s essentially an AGM-65F but smaller like a hellfire so you can put three on a pylon for an F18E. Doesn’t have IOG and speed of mach 1. I don’t know if this will fix the cas problem for America. There’s essentially no equivalent to the KH38MT for America and NATO countries. They all moved on to radar and laser while Russia did move on to them as well but kept their options available to IR as well. It’s really unfortunate that Gaijin’s standards are IR ATGM missiles and no radar. The only western IR LOBL missile is the SPIKE but that can’t be put on planes and hell Gaijin can’t fix their tandem warhead and flight path. I’ve searched everywhere and there’s nothing but mavericks for America and no IR missiles for typhoons. This is ridiculous. We’re gonna just have to wait for Gaijin to accept radar ATGM missiles later. Till then, NATO will have to use hella slow Spice Bombs and mavericks that self destruct when it sees smoke. Meanwhile KH38 will fly around the map at mach 2, with IOG, and 3 times the explosive mass. (If anyone wants my research on AGM169, dm me.)
are they glide + rocket bosted ?
The AGm169 has the hellfire rocket booster.
well its the best they can get.
unless gaijin add strombreaker in limited numbers like spice
