A discussion about the future of top-tier play: I’ve noticed a very high acceptance of the Nuclear Thunder mode among players because of how the match works. Specifically, there’s no base camp due to AI air defense, the maps are larger, the objectives are different, and the respawn system depends on your silver points, which solves the problem of teammates leaving after the first death.
So, I raise a question - what if these mechanics were applied to top-tier ground matches? Like, 64 vs 64, larger maps, respawn that depends on silver lions, and for example, base defense made by bunkers with cannons controlled by AI to prevent spam camp and matches that last longer? Would that solve the current problems of ground battles? 🤔
I would honestly like something like this but i think gaijin is too focused on infantry as the new game mode for ground so i doubt something like this would happen any time soon
Why not have every vehicle be user playable on the same map and match? It’s not too difficult to set up, and pretty much all maps already have the distances that make camping impossible while improving the purpose of heavy armor, high velocity guns, give greater respect to speed and traction, and allow for a variety of attack angles that just aren’t possible with the current gameplay.
