Copy paste over making a tech tree unique

well… no that’s not correct

they did add other Unique vehicles alongside them, they were just not of the same type

Did you read OP at all? The copypaste that gaijin does is usually NOT required

Why are you even bothering to cite this qna? It’s the most brain-off, no logic, pure spit in the face of the community gaijin has ever released. They answered in the worst ways possible with the worst answers possible.

The problem is when gaijin chooses to copypaste when they have options to not do so… read the thread.

^^^^

This is not an excuse for copypasting when unique variants are available

well ok damn no lets Remove all Copy Paste vehicles and wait for 2030 without a Replacement when development of all 3000 barely known domestic tanks that could fill the role but each needs a working Year of Research and Development to implement is ready

you can’t just Summon a Hummel out of the Nothing

the Unique variants aren’t available because they’d need to actually IRL be Researched and Made for the game, and that literally takes Months of work (Mostly the research)

Shouldnt take that long unless you’re admitting gaijin is bad at their job

poor excuses, massively exaggerating 1. how much effort gaijin actually puts into this 2. how long it would take even if they did put any effort

someones gotta pay for the effort

Gaijin isn’t EA or Ubisoft that can just spare 20.000 devs and 40.000.000€ for a game

The problem wasn’t receiving something else unique when they add copy paste, it’s that they add copy paste in place of something unique, if you get what I’m saying. When they gave Germany the M44, they should have also added something like the Hummel, because it is Germany’s own unique SPG. Instead, they opted to cheap out, and give the M44 to everyone else, which makes sense if you’re adding it to begin with, but upsets people who missed out on the opportunity to get something unique to them, and rightfully so.

This is also evident with the Thai sub tree. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Thai sub tree could have added a unique M60 and M163 we have yet to see in game, and it was these vehicles that people were looking forward to (along with Oplot). However, instead, Gaijin copy pasted the M60 and M163 from the US. The problem with this? Gaijin rarely introduces new sub trees, meaning a lack of representation to nations. So when the nation you live in or are from finally gets represented in game, and its just tanks from another TT, people are going to be upset.

well they are adding Unique vehicles like the Hummel

it just took a bit longer than the M44

there’s never been one Denied vehicle that’s justified to be added because of a Copy paste placeholder in this game

Rarely?

This is one of the most profitable f2p games in existence and gaijin makes millions per year. Making excuses for a multi-million dollar company is a bad look.

These people just aren’t thinking critically (nor they do seem to want to) and are just blindly defending gaijin for no well explained or valid reasons.

The problem with this idea, is that someone has already made a suggestion for the Hummel. Most of the research is done, Gaijin just needs to get the vehicle modeled, double check the information that people provide (which is the point of including sources in a suggestion), and then implement it into the game.

I’m going side with waffle, the issue isn’t the C&P but added first before the domestic/unique option(even if the unique one ends up at a different BR).

The nation used the vehicle and under a realistic game there is no point in withholding, but it feels bad to see them before non import options, even more so with the limited room Gaijin has said TTs have(big reason why sub-trees are also having issues).

Exactly, and I agreed with Gaijin. When they add something like the M44, and other nations that operated that vehicle ask that they get them as well, that is fair. What isn’t fair when they do this is revoking a nation’s opportunity (for that update at least) to get their own domestic SPG. People can say “oh but they will get it eventually” all they want, why does it then take at least a year to get said domestic option? Because of research? Bull.

no it is required

YEAA??? and why not add stuff that already exist in TT that had them irl until they model the more unique ones

i agree but the solution is not going against C&P thay do that because its easy and fast to give stuff in alot of TT in an update. C&P dosent prevent or delay unique vechicles so whats the proplem??

No, it isn’t. They have real things they could add instead of copypasting.

Because they choose to NOT model the domestics.

why not get a tank that is already in game in the countrys TT that opereate them??

why do you think that ?? M44 and M55 were domestics for USA and who says thay dont work on domestics too?? like look all the ships theyadded in this update all of them were unique

You can add copypaste, you cannot add copypaste then refuse to add the domestic that should have been added with it.

Given to 6 nations

For every 10 copypaste vehicles there might be 1 domestic

naval is not a real gamemode that anybody cares about

when did they did that?

is it a bad think?

no?? lets count this update how many copy paste existed and howmay unique ones

i agree but its still a lot ofwork thay put there
