I need to vent and ask if it’s just my terrible luck, or if this is the normal War Thunder experience.
I mainly play Ground Battles, and my matchmaking stats look like a bad joke. Around 95% of my matches are uptiers, where I constantly face players with a BR 0.7 to 1.0 higher than my lineup. It gets even worse once I pass 6.3 – from that point on, literally 100% of my games are full +1.0 BR uptiers. My tanks just can’t compete with what I’m forced to fight against.
On top of that, team matchmaking is a nightmare. My teams routinely fail to capture even a single point. We get completely crushed within the first few minutes of the match and end up spawncamped right away.
Is the matchmaking algorithm really this broken? Where is the balance, fun, or interesting gameplay when every single match feels like a losing battle from the start? How do you guys deal with this?
