Console players should have a Legacy/Event Store where old event vehicles rotate in for GE after a few years. No trading or marketplace needed

Console players currently have no way to access older event vehicles like PC players do through the Market. I think a good solution would be an in-game event vehicle catalog for console players. This system would not include player trading, bidding, or a marketplace economy. Instead, Gaijin would directly control the prices and availability of vehicles.
The system could work like this: Older event vehicles return after 1–2 years. Vehicles rotate monthly or yearly. Vehicles are purchased directly with Golden Eagles. No player-to-player selling or trading. This would give console players a fair way to obtain older event vehicles they missed while still keeping vehicles rare for a long period of time. I think many console players would appreciate a system like this, especially since consoles currently do not have access to the PC Market. I hope you really consider this cause it would make a difference.

No you shouldnt. That would be unfair on PC players as they wouldnt be able to get a lot of the things you would. Yes it sucks you dont have access to the marketplace but you still have access to SL crates and the likes

Oh look at that, PC players crying that console players will be able to get things too. Did you guys forget you have the Gaijin market, which no one else can access? Or how about the multitude of sales you get every year, while console players are lucky to get two. Or how about how console players get banned for turning off Crossplay just to avoid PCheaters? Or how about how PC players can access more cheats and exploits than console players? But nooooo! Console players being able to get old event vehicles (keep in mind, console players only recently got War Thunder, while PC players had it for over a decade) is unfair.

I mean, there is just PC and Console, did I forgot someone?

Blame Microsoft/Sony, they gave out Slots which gaijin can Use for Sales, while in the Launcher(PC) they can do as many Sales as they want

Thats the Biggest BS I heared in years and is simple a Lie…

yap yap yap…

oh dear lord

how old is “old”

and this is now a -1 for me, if Its rotating monthly and say they have 2 options, that could get you 24 old event vehicles (possibly some very rare one (E100, Surblinde, OBJ 279 and 292, and others)), all in a year, and say Gaijin makes them cost the price of a top-tier premium that would mean you could get 24 old event vehicles for $1920 USD, I love the concept but if this was implemented PC players would likely cry, I know you have good intentions with this but I don’t think that this is the way man :(

But that woukd also make sure that PC player will hate Consome player even More+ PC player will climb Gaijins HQ onto the Roof because from PC side, why do (we) have to pay 2000€ for a E-100, but console has it for 80 Bucks

As a console player I have never heard of that. However, disabling cross-play to avoid PC players was a thing before the Series X made it almost impossible. It is a fact that if you are a bona fide Xbox player, not a PC player on a live account, it is impossible to cheat.

Xbox players get screwed across the board from everything from lack of keybinds, mice vs controller advantages etc. I think opening up the marketplace would not only be fair and good for Xbox players, it would be good business for Snail. I suspect however that the greed of Microsoft and their BS ties Gaijin’s hands from a business perspective. I don’t think it’s because Snail hates console. But they do ignore us to death …

exactly

Maybe thats the point were the Convertible RP could get another Use

Uhhh the entire thing this thread is about?

Shouldnt have gotten a console? Everyone knows Sony and MS love to be difficult

Just wrong and its only a certain portion of the playerbase that cheats

Huh?

Because the supply and demand isnt there. You’ll be able to get access to things that the marketplace hasnt got, say the E-100, nobody is selling it at the moment, but it could come up. And no Gaijin wont constantly monitor everything

Not like the latest ban wave got rid of a bunch of Xbox players for playing with Crossplay Disabled or anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but hey, God forbid they put the Chinese in their own servers.

No one on console gets banned for playing with Crossplay Off…

could be a solution, but idk because if that happened I have a feeling the market place will almost entirely dissolve, because if I’m correct its mainly tank, and plane sales that get the main income from the marketplace, with very few if at all any crate sales, and some skin sales, and botes, and @SilentTracker did a rough math estimate a while ago about the Market place sales and how much income Gaijin gets from it, and it seems like they get quite a bit from it

Edit: ok found @SilentTracker’s thing (The Nuclear Football! - #582 by SilentTracker)

Son 😭

Eh, Skins are the real Money makers, sure a tank costs eazely 200 bucks, but you sell more skins than Vehicles which are that expensive
In the time were you sell maybe 1 E-100 you also sell like 10k Skins for 0.20 Cents

Just a friendly nudge, mentioning cheating or racial associations is a violation of Forum rules. I am sympathetic to your point of view, but there are clear guardrails here, for good reason.

Also don’t feed the trolls, hjnbnb is dangling rage bait, don’t take it.

Right, because they totally did not parade it around, saying they banned Xbox players for having their Crossplay Disabled, calling it “collusion” or whatever. But hey, PC players can cheat and use X-ray and intentionally turn their graphics down so they can remove bushes from their view, but nooooooo, turning off Crossplay to stop playing with cheaters? Nah, enjoy your 4 month ban, console peasant.

Also, oh no, Xbox players can buy an E-100? How terrible! Just ignore the fact PC players have been able to do the same thing for years. Why is it so bad that console players would be able to get a marketplace as well?

eh yeah that makes sense

Because it is?
