I guess we’ll get GTA 6 before graphics on current gen consoles get updated (literally the same as last gen only increased resolution)

Nothing updated since new power aside from grabbing more money. Like give us the option to change graphics, current gen consoles are much more powerful than last gen ones so I don’t see a problem with updating graphics for consoles. A freaking handheld gets over 100 FPS in this game with optimized ray tracing settings for Gods sake
They can literally change graphics settings with their dev kits but no, they keep us like Xbox one and ps4 players.
Its probably being held back by sony and microsoft you know that right? Its probably that they dont allow two versions of one game, so they’d rather use the one that works on both. It could also just be that gaijin doesnt support upscaling techniques on the newer consoles. Its not that you are being left behind at all I just dont know the reason for it

We dont need upscaling techniques, the consoles are already running native 4K at smooth 60FPS, I noticed that it jumps to 80 and higher for a split second which means the current gen consoles are certainly capable of higher graphics
though you’re right about the sony and Microsoft thing though its weird because the game has a X/S patch on Xbox which means there’s two versions and if there is only one then it won’t show the X/S patch meaning only last gen version is available
I think Gaijin has a lesser understanding of console hardware
They might think that they aren’t capable of higher graphical fidelity
I heard the reason they don’t change the graphics is because they have the same components and those components can’t be upgraded for consoles though its stupid because War Thunder is an insanely optimized game and these consoles can easily handle better graphics for years until the next generation of consoles arrive
That is WITH upscaling. It does NOT run 4K native
No idea console companies are just weird. Theyre the biggest issue with consoles in this game
