Why do I start nearly every game 2 or more minutes later than everyone else…even though I have join games in progress deselected? Nothing quite as fun as being bombed in the spawn, on your initial spawn…

I never joined an already ongoing match for years now since I have this setting enabled.
It could a connection issue on your part as well.
I don’t think it’s the speed…I’m pushing 900 Mbps…the only thing I can think of is I’m using an XBox One X…processor is a bit slower than more modern computers
Consoles load slower from what I can tell my friend on his ps4 loads in about 30 seconds late.
On PS5 I load before anyone else. It’s quite bothersome in naval battles where the first people who spawn are always singled out and thus destroyed immediately. So I usually wait to spawn.
Does that have an SSD though?
That could very much be the difference over ‘normal’ console standards that we hold.
