Just two weeks ago I played on a PXN 2119 Pro joystick and there were no problems. Today, when I tried to connect the joystick to the USB connector, the game generated an “exception” error and a crash report. restarting the game caused the same thing. The problem may have occurred due to a new anti-cheat, please help.
Whenever I did controller changes I’d always have them plugged in, then start war thunder.
Did the crash happen when you plugged it in, with the game open, or was it like the way I’d suggest?
The same thing, as I said 2 weeks ago, there were no problems. However, restarting the game or computer does not help, the drivers are up to date. I also tried turning it on separately before the game and turning it on when it was running
Doing this from memory, so could have the wrong path, but try going into your documents > my games> war thunder > saves and move all files out of that folder. That is where your control setups are saved.
I wonder if your control profiles are corrupted or something and it’s causing a CTD. By moving those files it should reset to default settings.
It didn’t help. With the joystick connected to usb I get an error. The interesting thing is that the game loads as always and I even get into the hangar, but I can’t press anything.
But doesn’t when the joystick isn’t connected?
That is rather weird
Tried deleting and reinstalling the joystick drivers?
Or
Verifying the install of war thunder?
Just for later on, if nothing comes of this, and these suggestions.

This is the real place to file a bug report as it’ll ask you to upload dxdiag files and log files, and those log files are more than likely needed, but they can only really be ‘read’ by staff as they’re gibberish to normal eyes.
